“Well what a suprise this was! Years ago the White Horse had a bad reputation and was considered a bit of a dive. No longer though. The current owners have turned this into a very clean, well presented and comfortable stay. The staff were efficient, friendly and courteous. The bar and dining area were clean, tidy, regularly bussed the tables. The breakfast was ample and very well presented and the same can be said for the eveing meal. “Beautiful old property in an idyllic setting. Friendly and helpful staff. Food good on the whole. Shower cold this morning in both rooms, which was disappointing. Lovely large bath sheets. Coffee machine in each room. Enjoyed our stay.”

“We had a standard room which was clean and well equipped with good air conditioning - which was needed. The only small downside was that no one came to ask what we wanted to drink with our breakfast so we had to approach one of the staff. Very good buffet lunch.”
