“Absolutely outstanding guest house - I was really impressed from the moment I arrived. The room was enormous and very comfortable, with everything I needed. It was the perfect temperature and almost unnervingly quiet and peaceful. The bed was very comfortable and everything was spotless. Breakfast was great, and the owners were very accommodating.”

“Very basic hotel, requiring refurbishment. The main problem: they offer brekfast using a Gym structure 50-100m away out of the parking. This structure is not suitable for food and the breakfast is very poor and NOT cheap. Apart from this, there is no agreement with the hotel and you have to sign a book each time you enter. “It’s a lovely hotel and very convenient stop. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We only had breakfast but it was delicious and plenty of it. The decor was lovely but needed a bit of tidying and the vase on the table needed a clean. I’m not keen on fake flowers which gather dust and the winter sun shows the glass vase needing a polish. I’m being picky hoping I’m being helpful. It was a fab stay and I thoroughly recommend it and would stay again. ”

“Last minute booking due us n3eding tongo and viait family after a sudden unexpected family passing all the stagf where nothing but kind and polite and when we needed to extend our stay it was no issue at all for them to help us we opted to have the breakfast and im so glad we did aswell as the full english and continental option the also had things like omelettes, avocado on toast and the most delicious eggs florentine. The manor is stunning as is the grounds and i enjoyed googling the history!”
