“Great location although we were in front of hotel which has seating area outside for the restaurant next door. Closed at 8 so quiet but I expect in the evenings it can be noisy to stay in room 1. Decor great, very clean, large bed, spacious bathroom. Tv signal awful, kept dropping out continuously . No hotel parking as we thought, it’s free street parking but it was very very busy so we had to park in a car park a good 15 min walk away carrying luggage ”

“Absolutely wonderful but we did have the best room (The Kings Suite) The only thing I would say is the windows need cleaning as the sun was beaming in the morning and it showed them up terribly. But everything else was just amazing from the suite to the art, and all the interest around racing. Breakfast was lovely too. ”

The staff are very welcoming, took us to our room which was clean, spacious and inviting, the room was over looking a canal, which made it feel tranquil when sitting on the balcony in the morning drinking tea, in the robes provided.
The bed was comfy, decent size walk in shower room too.
Had an ibiza themed night when we stayed, so decent music.

“Excellent stay. There are 4 x ex stables which have been converted into individual chalet type accommodation.

"The housekeeping was a joke. For a 5 nights stay they never cleaned the bathroom (just changed the towels and the toilet paper) and never changed the bed. They took the garbage from the room though, daily . You have to get used to live in your own dirt.
Breakfast was average with limited choices. Restaurant offered outstanding food of superb quality and taste, but the menu was limited. The gym is way above average and top notch for the level of the hotel. The SPA was superb and offered the best in class products. If you want a superior SPA you truly have to struggle to find one. WiFi was excellent and stable. The staff in general was young and inexperienced, but the tried their best."
