“The room was in good condition, but things were old, but it was clean and it was comfortable. Had a nice fireplace. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The restaurant was OK. Dinner was all right. Breakfast was fine however, the hotel is located in a very remote area and to get there, we had to travel on a very steep narrow curvy road that took us a very long time and then as we made the turn to get to the hotel, the road was unpaved and filled with potholes and really craters, and the 4 miles...

Food was the best I’ve had in Costa Rica - and we’ve tried a lot , but nothing beats the taste and quality of their meals . Stuff goes above and beyond to assist everyone with all needs and requests. “The property was clean and well kept. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was friendly. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay this is not it. It is located on a busy road with extremely loud traffic all day and night. Ear plugs were provided but were useless. I'm happy thay my stay was limited to one night as I require quiet enjoyment in my lodgings. Parking was also tricky and the rivers and gardens mentioned in other reviews were non existent. This property is 2 hours away from San Jose...
