“Fantastic place immersed in the rainforest!”

“The staff here is absolutely fantastic! Even though our trip started a bit bumpy, they totally turned it around and made us feel so welcome and at home. Their hospitality was beyond amazing, and they were super accommodating to everything we needed. We're definitely coming back when we're in the La Fortuna area! They even helped us plan activities and surprised my sister for her birthday, which was so sweet! Big shout-out to Alejandro, Jimmy, Carlos, and Victor! Pura Vida !”

“Super Unterkunft. Sehr schön gelegen, nicht weit von Lafortuna. Tolle Aussicht. Sehr sauber. Vielen Dank.”

“Good location, quiet and peaceful”

“The stay at the Garden Lodge was really perfect! Jubenal and his family are so helpful and friendly! It is a little outside of LA Fortuna situated but Jubenal offered us to drive us to the center and picked us also up. The room is really great, it's a small house of wood with a view to a part of a forest. So in the night and the morning you hear the animals living there. Also the breakfast was really tasty with fresh fruits, eggs and toasted bread. I really recommend staying here if you prefer a...

“The Retreat is gorgeous. The views of the Volcano and Lake are amazing. The pescatarian menu is perfect for vegetarians and pescatarians. All three meals are served. We did not have meals included but very much enjoyed dinner and breakfast there. The pocket sized gathering places are charming - slider over looking lake, dining room and reception, the separate lounge area with tea and coffee looking into the jungle. The evening walk was fun. The property is on the top of a very steep hill...

“Everything I did over there was amazing ! Will definitely go back .”

“We spent several days at this house, and everything was wonderful. The hosts were very kind, and the house was easy to access. My kids and I absolutely loved it—the cleanliness, the pool, everything was just as we expected. And the extra bonus of being able to go out and see the animals at the farm was absolutely incredible. We had a great experience!”

“If you were only staying for one or two nights in Chachagua, then this motel might suit you fine, please be highly aware of their nonrefundable policy. I made the mistake of booking this hotel for two weeks so that I had a homebase for my entire stay in Costa Rica. When I realize that I was not very happy staying there, I was unable to cancel or get refunded for my unused nights.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our few days at La Vida Mountain Resort and Spa. We particularly enjoyed the evenings watching spectacular thunderstorms flashing in distant skies over other valleys while there was not a drop of rain where we were. The food was consistently very good and the staff always friendly and helpful. We would definitely return.”

Behoorlijk ruim, grote bedden, complete keuken, nette badkamer, heerlijke douche!
