Definitely not the best smell if you’re sitting on your patio, at the pools, or eating at Margaritaville. To put it mildly, the area around the resort is somewhere between the 9th ward in NOLA and 8 mile in Detroit. Trash and junk vehicles fill the yards on Smith Bay Rd.
