The unit is in a community of 45 mountain cabins with a hot tub shared by all guests that closes strictly at 9pm.

Check in is 4pm and later, and check out is 10am and earlier, with early check in available for a small fee but cannot be reserved until 24h before arrival and only then if the cleaning schedule allows for it.

This cabin requires a longer uphill walk from the parking area compared to the other cabins in the neighborhood. The plus side is a more secluded feeling, but be ready for it!

Wildlife is abundant in this area, so never leave food in vehicles.

Welcome to your secluded mountain retreat where wildlife viewing meets luxury comfort. This peaceful cabin sits in a quiet corner of the Solitude Cabins community, offering front-row seats to nature`s daily show.

Elk and deer frequently graze in the small meadow visible from your deck and living areas, creating unforgettable moments throughout your stay.

The cabin features soaring vaulted ceilings with exposed wood, a dramatic stone gas fireplace, and large windows that frame the surrounding forest and mountain views.

The open-concept living area flows seamlessly from kitchen to dining to living room, perfect for gathering while maintaining those stunning views. A private deck overlooks the peaceful meadow where wildlife congregates, especially during dawn and dusk hours.

The Solitude HOA is a quiet neighborhood of vacation cabins near Lake Estes, just a few minutes from downtown Estes Park. This is a peaceful, family-friendly resort community. It encompasses 45 standalone cabins, a main lodge with 7 hotel-style rooms, and a meeting space/gathering area. The grounds cover 9 acres and back up to wild forest to the east, so wildlife frequent the neihgborhood. Lake Estes has a great walking path around it and is about a 5-10 minute walk from the property. Solitude is only a few minutes by car to downtown Estes Park.

You will need a car to really enjoy your time in Estes Park, though the town`s free summer shuttle does have a stop in the Solitude neighborhood. That shuttle runs from July to September and will take you to downtown, and from there you can take other shuttles around the Estes Valley.

NO SMOKING, NO FIRES

This home was a few miles away from one of the largest forest fires in Colorado history a few years ago. This is now a strict no-smoking property. No smoking inside, outside, and no outdoor fire pits (now illegal in Estes Park`s vacation homes). Charcoal BBQs are banned. Gas is OK.

ROAD CONDITIONS

Estes has a great plow team and our parking area will also be plowed during storms, but if there`s a huge blizzard, they may not be plowed exactly when you need them to be. We cannot assist if you get stuck and we always recommend that people rent AWD or 4WD when visiting us from October to May. We are at 8,000 feet and this can be a snowy area!
