“Wonderful welcome on arrival by the owner, Sue. The room is lovely and big with a large bathroom, it's spotlessly clean everywhere with beautiful decor. There is a little fridge in the room with milk for hot drinks, a nice touch. The breakfast each morning is superb with the best eggs we've ever tasted (from their own chickens). We have already booked for next year at the same time. Highly recommended.”

“Villa di campagna inglese molto bella con giardino. La nostra camera era di quelle piccole ma spaziosa a sufficienza con letti singoli comodi. Bagno pulito e dotato dei comfort necessari anche se non molto spazioso. Colazione eccellente, ricca di prodotti freschi cucinati sul momento. Parcheggio in loco di fronte alla struttura. Malgrado la posizione isolata, si puo' raggiungere Exeter in 15 minuti su strade comode da percorrere.”

“Great communication. Room was spotless and warm for my arrival. Oat milk provided, so I could enjoy a cup of tea! Lovely bathroom, bed is super comfortable and I slept really well. Quiet location only a 15 minute walk from the centre of Totnes. Would definitely stay ahain on a future visit.”

“This was definitely the best accomodation we had during our two week trip of the UK. Fiona and Steve were very welcoming hosts. The historic house is cozy, as is the guest lounge and breakfast room. The lounge is equipped with a quality stereo system, a record player and a large and truly excellent selection of LPs. You can select your breakfest and your music of choice in the evening. “DO NOT BOOK HERE. It is a false listing. It is not what it advertises; restaurant/hotel. I felt scammed when I turned up with my family. I booked last minute and I should have checked more reviews. The photo on their website is now non existent (I assume it’s what it used to be years ago) it’s frontage is now a Greggs, nowhere tells you to get the keys from inside the Londis garage. Only because I went to ask where the place was, I was told ‘oh yeah you collect the keys here’ and the rooms are...

“Very interesting set up at the Rooms, loved the decor and the big lounge area. The little touches such as milk and water in fridge, and the dog basket, was really good. The decor in the bathroom on one side was dated and the towel rail had come away from the wall.. but everything was clean and presented very nicely. A good place to stay for a short trip.. many thanks ”
