“Excellent stay at this lovely hotel on the Esplanade at Exmouth set in huge grounds which were kept immaculate. We had a beautiful superior room with a lovely sea view. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice, thoroughly recommend. Plenty of safe parking at a reasonable charge. Hotel very conveniently situated. ”

“Position of house was very good although there was no parking which is inconvenient. The furniture is old and very tatty The central heating didn't work terribly well. We enjoyed our stay, there is lots of space but feel the place need some decorating and some newer furnishings ”

“I really like the people that run it ...you can have a laugh and a joke and their professional. I love the quirky old fashioned styling but it's done in a modern way. The menu seemed basic but the quality of the food was fantastic everybody should try the prawns starter !!! Two dislikes Coffee machine in room too small difficult to use. The noise of extractor fans outside the windows was a constant drone but okay if you're used to noise and not from the quiet countryside. I'm definitely going...
