“Very clean room but the shower could be improved. It is set into the wall so taller visitors have to bend down to wet their hair. The water was hot so no problems with actually taking a shower once hair was wet. Excellent food and choice of drinks. Staff were friendly and keen to ensure we were served quickly without fuss.”

The food was good and the fish and chips are obviously a popular choice, and looked delicious. Breakfast was good. Staff very helpful and friendly.”

I will definitely be booking there again and I can not recommend it enough. Lovely bar with a nice atmosphere. “Very enjoyable stay. Excellent staff led by John the general manager, whose welcome is friendly and genuine. Top marks. Room comfortable if slightly very cramped . Excellent breakfast that used fine local ingredients. Dinner was good too, but a few of the dishes just need a little more finesse to make the Michelin guide. Overall, strongly recommended thanks to John and his team.”
