“I rented 2 rooms, 1 for my mother and 1 for me. We felt so unsafe due to their clientele that we stayed in the same room. They also allow smokers to gather right outside the front door entrance and smoke. There are no amenities. Very bare bones. If you are planning on an extended stay there are no plates/ glasses/ cookware which I thought was the purpose of a property like that. I will never stay there again. Do not recommend.”

“The staff is incredibly friendly and the area is nice and clean. However, our first morning, housekeeping woke us up at 8 in the morning and tried to come in to clean the room at that time. After that, we decided to leave the do not disturb sign on our door at all times. Despite this, a different staff member came a different morning, and came into the room saying that we had said we had issues with the TV. “We appreciated our stay at Homewood Suites. There was plenty of safe parking for $10/day and a lovely wooded hiking trail abutting the property. Everything was super clean in the hotel, breakfasts were fresh and varied and the coffee was great! While you can cook in your room, it would be limited. If planning to, bring a sponge and dish soap! 10-15 minute walk to the metro and about 30 minute ride to the Smithsonian’s in DC. We would stay again if we were in the area!”
