Gold Trail Retreat offre il massimo relax e divertimento. Spero che ti prenda del tempo per sperimentare un po 'di pace e tranquillità mentre sei qui. La casa è circondata da abeti rossi, pini e pioppi tremuli. È isolata e molto boscosa. La zona è famosa per l'escursionismo e l'arrampicata. Ci sono più vecchie miniere lungo molti se i sentieri che salgono i 14er. Ci sono cinque "quattordici" in circa 20 minuti dalla casa: Mount Sherman, Mount Lincoln, Mount Democrat, Mount Bross e Mount Quandry. La cabina si trova a circa 20 minuti a sud di Breckenridge ea 45 minuti da numerosi punti di lancio per il rafting.

La casa dispone di 3 camere da letto. C'è una camera da letto con un letto king size e un'altra camera da letto con un letto matrimoniale al piano principale. C'è un bagno full size condiviso a questo livello. Al piano inferiore c'è una terza camera da letto che è un bel posto per bambini. Ha un letto a castello con un letto matrimoniale sul fondo e un gemello in cima. C'è anche un altro gemello in questa stanza. La grande sala ricreativa ha una televisione, molti comodi posti a sedere e giocattoli per i bambini. C'è un letto futon full size anche nella sala giochi. Viene fornito un grande tavolo da gioco per lavorare al tuo puzzle preferito o giocare al tuo gioco preferito. C'è un bagno completo in comune su questo livello inferiore e con una combinazione doccia / vasca. È disponibile una nuova sauna a botte di cedro per 4-6 persone. Questo è un ottimo posto per rilassarsi dopo una giornata di sci o escursioni. La casa ha anche un nuovo tavolo da biliardino che è una grande attività per tutta la famiglia. I bambini e gli adulti adoreranno giocare a questo gioco.

Gold Trail Retreat è a soli 25 minuti dalla stazione sciistica a 5 stelle di Breckenridge. Ha sci e imbarco di classe mondiale. C'è anche motoslitta, gite in slitta, pattinaggio su ghiaccio, tubi alpini e molto altro. Keystone e bacino A sono anche a breve distanza da casa e offrono ulteriore sci di classe mondiale. Come accennato, è molto vicino a molti dei 14 'che così tante persone vengono in Colorado per arrampicarsi. Che tu sia un scalatore o un escursionista occasionale, la zona ha bellissimi sentieri da godere direttamente dalla proprietà. Se non ti piacciono le escursioni, ci sono sempre cavalli da cavalcare, acque bianche da conquistare su una zattera, piste per racchette da neve, sci di fondo e molte altre attività per sfidare ogni persona. Se ti piacciono le meravigliose unità, ce ne sono molte che possiamo consigliare con le vecchie miniere e le città pioniere da esplorare. C'è un favoloso centro commerciale outlet nella vicina Silverthorne dove puoi fare acquisti e ritirare tutti i materiali di consumo e l'abbigliamento di cui hai bisogno per le tue avventure. È semplicemente un posto fantastico in cui soggiornare. Non c'è trambusto e assolutamente NESSUN traffico e rumore del traffico. Sei abbastanza vicino alle attività per godertele se vuoi, ma abbastanza lontano per avere la tua pace e solitudine.

La zona ha molto da offrire in termini di attività. In estate, c'è l'equitazione proprio lungo l'autostrada 9 al Platte River Ranch. Hanno 2 ore di corsa, mezza giornata e cena. È un ottimo posto per la famiglia per andare a cavalcare attraverso la foresta e prati di montagna. Ti danno una vera esperienza del vecchio West. C'è la pesca molto vicino alla proprietà. Ci sono diversi punti e parchi vicino alla casa dove è possibile pescare. Sentieri escursionistici sono tutti nella Pike National Forest. Molti dei famosi 14'er sono in questa zona come il Monte. Sherman, Mt. Lincoln, Mt. Bross, Mt. Democratico e Buffalo Peaks. Se ti piace ATVing, portali con te e ci sono molte molte aree in cui cavalcare come Breakneck e Browns Pass e 4-Mile ATV park. Mosquito Pass Road è molto vicino a casa e puoi attraversare il Mosquito Pass fino a Leadville, dove ci sono centinaia di vecchie miniere da esplorare. Puoi anche guidare fino in città e goderti il pranzo o la cena in alcuni dei pittoreschi ristoranti ristrutturati della città mineraria. Ci sono anche molti negozi di antiquariato da esplorare. È una fantastica gita di un giorno.

Se ti piace lo shopping outlet, Silverthorne è solo una breve distanza in auto e ha ottimi negozi. Breckenridge ha anche decine di fantastici negozi unici. Chiamaci e possiamo indicarti la città fantasma o il sentiero escursionistico più vicino. Assicurati di visitare la città mineraria restaurata del 1800 di South Park, che si trova proprio a Fairplay. È davvero da vedere!

The place was great overall. However, it was difficult to get to the real property without calling the owner. Additionally, one of my guests forgot her necklace inside the cabin which she has not got back yet although the property owner says s/he has mailed the said item in an envelope. Granted, we should have been more careful but the same holds true when mailing it. Finally, the place could use some extra indoor and outdoor sports such as pool house and maybe a playground outside but it wasn’t bad without them either. Also, very important to note is the access road is all unpaved for couple of miles so it’s better to be prepared for that.

It was always a nice drive to and from the property. Everyday we would come across some moose. The travel time from the start of the community to the home was about 15 mins even with icy and or nonplowed road conditions. Thankfully our AWD vehicle was equipped with snow tires and made the commute manageable especially when some parts of the road weren't plowed yet. Communte to the Fairplay was about 10 mins to include the grocery store. The home's elevation was 11,500 ft, so drink plenty of water, take that first day to adjust to it, and bring some symptom relieving meds to enjoy your stay. I would've appreciated if there was a portable humidifier in the home (other than the sauna) for guest that are not used to the dry climate. Home was very clean and spacious. Kitchen is equipped with plenty cooking appliances. The King bed in the main bedroom was rather comfy. Overall, I would recommend staying in this home in the Winter or Summer!

This is a nice secluded cabin that can be enjoyed by the whole family. The road to the cabin is a bit hard so make sure to proper vehicle.

First, the cabin is just wonderful. Great layout and plenty of space. We stayed there and drove about forty minutes to Breckenridge to ski daily. There is a cute wood burning fireplace, washing machine and full kitchen. There are some things to consider if you use this cabin in the winter. You absolutely need chains for your tires and a SUV type vehicle with all wheel drive. The route up to the cabin was icy and full of snow. The elevation is really a factor. It took a couple days to get used to it. The walk up to the cabin in the snow from the car might not be for everyone. The sauna really didn't heat up because it was just too cold outside. The toilet downstairs was a little bit quirky. I say all of that in full disclosure but it was absolutely great. We would definitely stay there again. I loved having the space, privacy, and avoiding the ski crowd in town.

The property was as expected, we enjoyed the open space in the home and the supplies provided in the Kitchen to make great meals. There's a grill outside and plenty of pots, pans and dishes for you to use. The drive up and down can be challenging due to the condition of the road, you'll definitely want something that can handle the bumps.

The manager managing the property was very polite, professional, and kind. Communication with her was very pleasant and quick (we changed dates of our reservation and she was most accommodating and responses were quick). Property was clean, well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen, a roll of tp in each bathroom, blankets, towels, some none-perishable items in the kitchen, some detergent and dishwasher liquid. Property: When we arrived, as I walked upstairs to the main door, inside the cabin I was struck by most excruciating chest pain I have ever experienced! It was almost impossible to breathe. Some little cans of oxygen that we bought ($17/ea) were quickly disappearing and they help just for 30 min each. After an absolutely sleepless night, we thought of checking out the next day and leaving. Instead, we rented an oxygen machine in hopes it would save our vacation. Budget that in, people, because there is absolutely NO WAY you will NOT going to need it! 5 days rental was $400. We slept with the machine every night and would escape to lower altitude places during the day. We ended up cutting our vacation short to avoid sleeping in the cabin one more night. Note to the property owners: A thoughtful and carrying thing to do for the people who invest in your business would be placing one of those machines at the property. This is a common problem and the intensity of it varies. Inability to breathe and have your heart squeezing in every drop of air is very painful and terrifying. Property is up the hill and the drive from the bottom of that hill to it is a dirt road, a good 20-25 min of it. Our Sienna had hard time climbing that rocky road. There are no hiking trails around the property. Everywhere you look there are signs that say, "Private Property. Keep Out! No Trespassing." So, when you want to go on a trail hiking you will need to drive to it.. going through the rocky road.. twice - up and down, down and up. There is a small pond near by for fishing. (driving distance). Breckenrige was a very fun place to visit. We also went to Silverthorne Rec Center during a rainy day and it left a great impression!

Location of the property was nice, semi-remote and somewhat secluded. Liked that they had the driveway recently plowed and chopped wood for the wood burning stove. Furnishings were decent and comfortable. Neighborhood was nice for taking walks. Only negatives; the floors needed sweeping and cleaning/carpets vacuumed and the downstairs shower tub backed up.

Beautiful property! Beautiful home! It’s actually the nicest home we’ve ever rented... and I’m not one to mince words. The ONLY negative thing I would have to say would be about the driveway. Whoever engineered that driveway was way off base. My husband is an engineer and he couldn’t believe what he was seeing. We literally had to leave our cars below and walk everything up the hill. It might not have been such a daunting task if it weren’t for our little ones coupled with the high altitude. Granted, I did read other posts that warned about the driveway but in my head I thought, “how bad could it be?” lol Well, now we know. Ha! This is one place we’d like to rent again but we simply won’t because of the driveway. And yes, we have 4 wheel drive and snow tires. If you’re young and spry this place will be a dream spot for you... if you’re elderly, have little ones, or just plain out of shape I wouldn’t recommend renting during the winter months. Everything else was AMAZING from the downstairs to the kitchen to the sauna!! We didn’t see any large wildlife... but every morning we went out to see who came to visit throughout the night by observing their prints in the fresh snow... including bear paws! Ha! So much fun! So many fun and relaxing memories were made!

As a family we love secluded cabins and this one has been by far the best one! We are from Texas so we wanted to get away and experience the snow and this cabin and area did not disappoint. The only issue we had was a little bit of altitude sickness so we recommend to hydrate and maybe purchase some supplemental oxygen if you are prone to altitude sickness. It was also the perfect distance to Breckenridge. We will definitely be coming back.

We enjoyed our stay in this property. Great location (directions were spot on), very quiet, beautiful accommodations. Close enough to enjoy Breckenridge/Frisco/Dillon (great drive over Hoosier Pass) but far enough to be away from the masses. Comments (not complaints) are (1) there is a gas grill (not listed on website) that we would have brought food for had we known about it, (2) the house is at 11,000 feet of altitude. Please make sure you can handle this. We had some minor health issues. (3) The internet is a satellite connection. You won't be doing any streaming. Bring some books and DVDs. We hit up Redbox in Breckenridge.

The cabin was great, the management company was great. The views and temperatures here in late July have me asking why I stay in texas...This was an awesome place and an awesome experience.
