Cabina moderna su 41 acri privati di abete rosso e pineta

Questa casa e questa terra sono il completamento di un nostro sogno di riuscire a portare i bambini che promuoviamo dalla città nella natura e in un rifugio dove possiamo ricaricare dalle nostre vite indaffarate.

Mentre questa casa dovrebbe soddisfare le esigenze di molti diversi tipi di viaggiatori, in particolare l'abbiamo costruita per essere amichevole con le famiglie con bambini.

L'open space è progettato per mantenere le zone giorno lontane da quelle che dormono e sono separate da una porta a scomparsa e pareti interne isolate in modo da poter andare a letto presto o dormire senza sentire alcun suono.

Vieni a rilassarti accanto al fuoco e divertiti a guardare fuori dalle molte finestre e ad essere circondato da nient'altro che alberi, o forse alci, cervi o alci occasionali. Trascorri un po 'di tempo mangiando i tuoi pasti intorno a un grande tavolo in legno di recupero sulla veranda coperta o affollando l'isola della cucina mentre i pasti sono preparati.

Ogni bagno ha i pavimenti riscaldati per eliminare il freddo dai piedi e un sedile del water riscaldato per rilassarti anche lì!

Il bagno per gli ospiti è suddiviso in singoli servizi igienici, vasca e lavandino per ospitare più facilmente gruppi più numerosi.

Ogni camera è dotata di tende oscuranti cellulari che bloccano la maggior parte del sole di montagna quando preferisci non vederlo.

Due camere da letto hanno cabine armadio abbastanza grandi per presepe portatile o pack-n-play. Sono disponibili sia una culla portatile che pack-n-play.

Gli armadietti della cucina sono dotati di blocchi per bambini che possono essere facilmente agganciati per il vostro soggiorno. Everything about our 5-day stay at the Mossy Moose Cabin was wonderful, but what truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality. The host (Bethany) was welcoming, attentive, and quick to respond to any needs. The place itself was lovely, and the thoughtfully provided amenities made the space comfortable and relaxing, truly enhancing the overall experience. Our only issue was adjusting to the altitude, but that was to be expected and in no way took away from how much we enjoyed our stay.

Excellent property, well-organized and equipped. The layout of the cabin' (it is nicer than that) struck me as efficient, with 3 bedrooms and open-plan living room/kitchen all on one floor. Beautiful porch. Accessible with only a few stairs. Totally surrounded by forest. Great location for outdoor activities. Basic services available in nearby Fairplay.

This house was amazing! Not only was it gorgeous, it was immaculately clean! The kitchen was stocked with all necessities to cook. The bedrooms had ample bedding, comfy beds and they were so clean! The bathrooms were also amazing! When I say they have everything we could have needed, I’m not joking! There were board games, toys and even gold pans! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful, peaceful property about 30 minutes outside of Breckenridge. Very well appointed cabin with just about everything you need for a relaxing getaway. We saw a pretty good variety of wildlife around the property during our stay... Chatty squirrels, chipmunks and even a moose! Highly recommend this cabin!

Relaxing Cabin Weekend with Toddler

We had a relaxing stay with our 2 year old. The cabin had such thoughtful amenities for young kids that we really appreciated! Also loved the secludedness of the cabin and responsive host!We'll definitely want to come back again sometime.

A Diamond in the Forest

Perfect

Quick 3-day getaway for my husband and myself during the week. Beautiful, secluded property with EVERYTHING you need for a worry free escape! Just bring your clothes and food and relax. Can't wait to return and maybe bring the family as there are 2 aptly appointed guest rooms in addition to the master suite!

Great Home

This was the perfect home for our family of 3 and our dog. The house had everything we needed and more. We usually opt for a mountain view for our vacation homes but decided to get deeper into the forest this year. The pure silence every night was perfect. TONS of wildlife in the nearby valleys which we loved. I think for our 5 night stay we encountered 8 moose,1 black bear, and several huge mule deer bucks. The best spot we found for watching these were in the large valley coming up to the house on CR 1 (take a right at the Y instead of left like the instructions indicate).

Beautiful cabin in the woods

The cabin was modern and well appointed . It had everything we needed for our stay and more . It was clean , check in and check out was seamless and communication was great . The location in Fairplay was perfect for the hiking we wanted to do and close to Alma and Breckenridge . We enjoyed the full kitchen and deck at the cabin with barbecue grill and also found a great dinner spot in Fairplay within 10 minutes from the cabin Millonzi"s . We enjoyed our short stay and hope to return in the near future .

Amazing cabin

This is an amazing spot with all equipped essentials. It was quiet and relaxing and you could not ask for better hosts. The cabin had anything and everything you need for a week long stay! We will stay there if we go back to the area.

Quiet relaxation among th pines

This is one of the cleanest, comfortable, well stocked cooking kitchens we have ever stayed. We thoroughly enjoyed the solitude in the pine tries and the deck is marvelous. It has plenty of room for 2 couples and their kids. Host is fantastic! Highly recommend.

This place was perfect for a weekend getaway with family. Bethany was excellent and very responsive. The cabin was clean and comfortable and had everything you needed. It is very remote, which we love; it is quiet and peaceful. I will book this place again!

Great early June stress-free weekend. Owners thought of everything. The house and property are magnificent. Communication was great and the labeling placed around the clean and modern interior was very thoughtful. Very secluded and quiet but close to town. Also I really liked that there weren’t hummingbird feeders hung everywhere, because hummingbirds are mostly jerks.

Better than expected!

Pictures don’t do it justice! The night we walked in after a long car ride behind us, we were blown away with everything. From the kitchen to the hardwoods to the bathrooms and everything that was provided (toilet paper, towels, paper towels, etc). We stayed for 9 days and didn’t run out of anything that we needed. We spend many days sitting out on the deck just enjoying the sound of the quiet and the trees blowing in the wind. Our stay was quiet and peaceful and we were able to recharge our batteries just like we had hoped. We lit a fire in the amazing fireplace in the living room our last night and were able to enjoy our last night all cozy with the ambiance of the fire stove. During our stay (not by sight from the cabin, but from our cars about a 1/2 mile or less away), we saw a lot of wildlife including a momma moose and her baby and two separate bull moose. Lots of deer, too! Our last day, we discovered the hot water tank was malfunctioning as we didn’t have hot water. We called the owner and she was so pleasant to talk to and got onto the issue right away! Bethany was so wonderful to work with. You can tell they take pride in their home! Thank you so much for giving us this beautiful piece of CO! We will be back!!

Perfect getaway

As promised, clean, cozy, and the comforts of home. Had a blast and was able to get some work done with a strong wifi. Great hiking right outside, and just a short drive to a bunch of cool towns and attractions. Highly recommend!

Perfect. Amazing.

The property is a quintessentially modern cabin in the woods, at the end of a long driveway and very isolated, which is exactly what we were looking for. We've stayed in lots of VRBO properties in both urban and rural settings, and this was by far the most put-together on many levels. The house features a high-ceilinged entryway with living room/kitchen and three spacious bedrooms in the back. It's beautifully appointed with wood paneling and very cool soapstone (at least we think it was soapstone) countertops. There's a woodstove, but the house has an excellent heating system and stays comfy with the fire or without. It's a lovely property in a beautiful mountain setting with amazing contemporary finishes, but what really stood out is the thoughtfulness of how everything is organized, labeled, and provided for: labels on all the light switches, in-floor heat in the bathrooms to cut the chill, an incredibly well-organized and informative guest book, clear instructions for how to operate everything from the stove to the thermostat to the TV and DVD player, and the kitchen is easily the best-stocked of any I've come across at a rental. So clean and so many amenities! An amazing selection of board games and great taste in movies with 50 or so DVDs. The altitude here can be a challenge, but we focused on drinking LOTS of water and also took either Ibuprofen or Tylenol that first day, which seemed to help. We loved it. Would absolutely return. Thanks for a great stay and congrats on this fantastic house.

Off the grid gem!

Bethany and Jon have an amazing place in the Mossy Moose Cabin. The cabin is spacious, sleeps many, has a great kitchen, and all the amenities you’d need as a guest. The location is off the grid and away from the hustle and bustle of Summit County. My friends and I enjoyed our stay here and plan on coming back again.
