  • 'Carvinack' è una struttura semi-indipendente leggera, spaziosa e accogliente con 1 camera da letto matrimoniale (3 posti letto su richiesta), situata in una tranquilla zona residenziale vicino alle spiagge di Gyllyngvase, Castle Beach e Swanpool con la sua riserva naturale. Il centro città, il porto e il lungomare sono facilmente raggiungibili in auto o comodamente a piedi.

    La struttura ha un arredamento neutro e interni confortevoli arredati con gusto. Al piano terra si accede alla proprietà attraverso un portico chiuso che conduce alla porta d'ingresso dove troverete un salotto di buone dimensioni con TV LCD, lettore DVD e impianto stereo (tutto Sony). Vi è abbondanza di comodi posti a sedere tra cui un divano, una poltrona reclinabile e una poltrona / poggiapiedi in pelle a bovindo. Mobili vintage in olmo "Ercol" in tutta la proprietà.

    Le portefinestre conducono alla cucina / sala da pranzo molto ben attrezzata con forno e piano cottura integrati, nonché a microonde, lavastoviglie, frigorifero / congelatore e lavatrice. Troverai una vasta gamma di attrezzature da cucina se scegli di cenare a casa.

    Una porta conduce al bagno luminoso e arioso sul retro della proprietà con WC, lavandino e box doccia angolare in vetro.

    Una scala dal salone conduce ad una confortevole camera da letto con bagno privato. Il letto matrimoniale con materasso a molle insacchettate John Lewis ha letti di buona qualità accompagnati da una colorata tenda e cuscini "Sanderson". Una TV LCD è posizionata sopra una cassettiera in pino spogliato. Troverai un sacco di spazio per appendere e spazio per vestiti e valigie nell'armadio a doppio specchio e cassettiere. Sentiti libero di portare un lettino da viaggio e se hai un bambino possiamo fornire un singolo 'letto Z' completo di piumino e piumino su richiesta da posizionare nella camera da letto o nel salotto.

    Riscaldamento centralizzato a gas completo con radiatori in ogni stanza e un fuoco a gas a fiamma viva nel salone.

    Wi-Fi gratuito per gli ospiti tramite una connessione a banda larga in fibra ottica ad alta velocità.

    Il parcheggio è fornito direttamente all'esterno della proprietà sul disco. Sul retro di "Carvinack" si trova un piccolo cortile interno decorato con tavolo, sedie, ombrellone e barbecue. È consentito fumare in questa zona ma non all'interno della casa stessa.

    I proprietari vivono accanto e spesso sono a portata di mano se necessitate di assistenza o desiderate chiedere consigli sui luoghi da visitare o sui ristoranti / bar locali per gustare un pasto o un drink.

    La vicina stazione ferroviaria e le linee degli autobus sono facilmente raggiungibili a piedi e sono disponibili molte buone compagnie di taxi locali.

    Falmouth è un posto meraviglioso da visitare in qualsiasi momento dell'anno e ha un fitto calendario di eventi locali. È anche un'ottima base per visitare altre parti della Cornovaglia durante il vostro soggiorno.

Great accommodation with little extras to make our stay enjoyable. Especially enjoyed the outdoor space to relax after a day of sightseeing..Would highly recommend this lovely property.

Everything was beyond perfect. Every little detail had been thought out meticulously, and all home comforts were to hand, even dishwasher tablets, tin foil and cling film.!Andrew and Rachel were wonderful hosts, and available at all times by phone or us just popping in to ask for take away menus. Could not have stayed anywhere nicer.Thank you.

Ein rundum schönes Ferienhaus, vollständig, funktional und recht neu ausgestattet. Sehr praktisch: die kleine Toilette im Obergeschoss, um nachts nicht durch das ganze Haus laufen zu müssen. Dazu freundliche unaufdringliche Vermieter, die bei Fragen helfen konnten. Rundum eine gelungene Urlaubserfahrung. Und der Ort Falmouth ist ein guter Startpunkt, um Cornwall kennen zu lernen.

Brilliant!

The accommodation was beautifully clean and well equipped. The bed and bedding was superb and the small ensuite loo and washbasin was just right. Off road parking was a bonus and Andrew and Rachel were charming. It was about 20mins walk into town which we enjoyed but the option of buses, taxis and the train were very easy.

We had a wonderfull stay at carvinack. We could not fault the property very clean & comfortable. It is just far enough out of town to be quiet in the evening, but only about a mile walk into town & beaches. lots of restraunts & pubs with the beerwolf being a favourite. overall a great place to stay 😊

Fantastic Falmouth

We were absolutely thrilled with our lovely holiday home, there was such attention to detail with every home comfort and much more available throughout our stay .Our hosts were so kind we had fresh flowers ,cornish biscuits,milk and champers in the fridge on arrival ! Besser geht es nicht!

Top Ferienhaus mit einer kompletten Ausstattung. Es hat uns wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und trotzdem nicht soweit vom Zentrum. Bergsteigen muss man in Falmouth überall ;) Können diese Unterkunft nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

What a beautiful place to stay. Amazing and like a show home, very central for all amenities. The attention to detail was excellent everything you could possibly need was here. Lovely accommodation in a lovely setting

Thank you Andrew & Rachel for providing such a well equipped and stylish home for our stay in Falmouth. Your attention to detail was much appreciated as were the treats left for our arrival! The accommodation itself is about 10 minutes walk downhill into town. You may wish to get a bus or taxi back as it is quite a steep hill. Or you could use the local train line. The railway station is about 5 minutes away and runs right into town. There is a fish and chip shop just round the corner which we were pleased to discover opens on Sundays. We would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Cornwall visit

Falmouth surprised us in very positive ways for such a large town. We were very happy with walking around and even going out on two different ferries. This property was certainly walker friendly. Also seeing the town from the water was beautiful. We did take the train into St Ives one day and that was a really nice way to visit such a pretty beach town. Overall staying at Andrew's rental was a very positive experience.

Superb House

My wife and I stayed here for 6 days in June. The house is ideal for 2 people as it has absolutely everything you might need. It has all home comforts and all the fitments are of an extremely high standard. It also has private parking on the drive in front of the house. The location is approximately a 15 minute walk to both the town centre with its harbour and the beaches,so it made an ideal base for everything in Falmouth. The hosts live next door so are on hand if needed. Andrew met us there upon arrival and was very helpful with information of the local area. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Superb Property Superb Hosts Superb Experience

So glad for spacious off street parking in a town with lots of on-street parking. Easy secure entry from excellent check-in instructions from Andrew & Rachel. First impression was it smells like a breath of fresh air. So clean & welcoming. It feels like you're at home but someone tidied your house before you arrived! Beautifully appointed. Not a single thing out of place. Lovely bottle of bubbly & fresh milk in the fridge. I had a cuppa from the teabags & local Cornish shortbread provided within my first 10 mins at the lovely table with fresh flowers. A family member moved to Falmouth for Uni and when she walked in she said "Wow, this is beautiful." And it truly is. I cooked at the property and had everything I needed. Sparkling clean kitchen and bathrooms. Rachel and Andrew have thought of everything. Even how to manage recycling and household waste. Outdoor seating was really lovely to have with the weather being very warm. Property is very secure but we didn't have any worries in that direction. Neighbourhood seems very local and friendly. All household linens are very high quality. The bedroom had so much storage and plenty of hangers in both wardrobes. The bed itself was extremely comfortable, plenty of pillows & a duvet like a cloud. I hope to return many times to Rachel and Andrew's awesome property. This is a lesson in exactly how a rental property should make you feel. Relaxed, refreshed, rewarded. So many lovely, thoughtful touches. Simply perfect.

Wir waren, im August, für 2 Wochen vor Ort und fanden es wunderbar. Eine sehr saubere und in einer ruhigen Wohngegend gelegene Unterkunft. Zu Fuß kommt man in 20 Minuten zum Strand oder ins Zentrum. Einen kleinen Bahnhof, von wo aus man schnell in die nächsten Orte kommt, oder wer möchte auch nach London, ist fußläufig in 5 min. zu erreichen. Die Vermieter wohnen direkt nebenan und sind sehr diskret. Wir haben sie in den 2 Wochen einmal, durch Zufall, getroffen und einen kurzen Smalltalk gehalten. Wir können die Unterkunft rundum empfehlen.

Fantastic property and hosts!

We had an excellent stay at Andrew and Rachel's cottage. Very clean and comfortable. The cottage was a perfect fit for our stay as we enjoyed exploring the Cornish countryside. Top marks all round, very clean and well equipped, very relaxing quiet atmosphere, all in excellent newly refurbished condition, hosts couldn't have been more helpful - being there on arrival and again when I had a car problem the evening before leaving when Andrew went to get a new wing mirror glass first thing next morning and then altered it and stuck it on as a temporary measure so I could drive home

A very well appointed immaculate house

It was a very pleasant surprise to find some lovely goodies and Prosecco on our arrival. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful. The lovely house has everything you could possibly need and was pristinely clean. It’s very well positioned for travel down into the town with either train or bus should one not want to walk. Falmouth is very interesting and there are lots of things to do round about. Would love to come back to Carvinack should we be invited to the shanty festival again. Highly recommended

Spotless, really well laid out and equipped

We couldn’t fault this place in any way - it was spotlessly clean and everything is so well thought out and it is equipped with everything you could need. A warm welcome from the hosts and all the information we needed. Very comfortable. We would recommend to anyone.
