The check-in process was very smooth and pleasant. Even though we arrived early in the morning around 10 AM just to look around, they warmly welcomed us, checked us in, and handed over our room right away....

“We really enjoyed staying at The Monte Vista during the Sourwood Festival. It was great to walk to town to eat and attend the festival. The hotel is old but very charming. It has a lot of stairs and no TV in some rooms, so be sure to book a room accordingly.”

“Even though the hotel appeared to be a little older on the outside, the inside was nicely updated! We enjoyed every part of our stay and even got to have fun in the pool. Housekeeping did a great job too. Breakfasts were tasty and complete from healthy to the not healthy..all yummy. Desk staff were so friendly and helpful too! Thank you for a delightful stay! ”

One a very minor problem, as noted by others, is that the toilet required a long flush or multiple flushes. My problem is that I forgot to ask for additional towels. I checked in at night and by the time I noticed that I need extra towels, I didn't think anyone would be around who could fulfill that request.”

We felt safe and secue. I don't think I would stay here for a long vacation, as it really doesn't have any amenities. BUT, since we only planned to arrive late at night and leave early in the morning, it was great! If you're looking to arrive at Biltmore when then open, this is a great place to stay! Affordable...
