“This recently remodeled motel was completely charming. We had a room accessible directly from the parking lot, and it was decorated beautifully. The nautical theme extended throughout. The bathroom was large, beautifully tiled, and perfectly functional. Towels were changed daily. The bed and pillows were very comfortable with nice cotton sheets. We would stay there again.”

The heater was a fire-hazard, too small for the queen size bed room (in the old boy’d dormitory area). The cord was too hot to touch. “Ho trascorso una settimana a cavallo di Capodanno perchè un mio amico americano abita nei paraggi. L'albergo è in una zona tranquillissima, non certo turistica in sè, non lontana dalla capitale Hartford, ma comunque, come la maggior parte degli Stati Uniti, non è facile girare senza un mezzo di trasporto. “Outside was very run down. Walking in the lobby looked nice. They did not have the room set up that I reserved so that was a bad start. When we did get into a “comparable” room it had some issues with the baseboard moldings peeling away and upon inspection the mattresses were not pleasant looking at all. We were on the ground floor and within 10 minutes a couple of items hit our window and someone actually ended up knocking on our window which was a shock. It turned out to be a hotel guest who...

“What a beautiful and charming inn! I loved everything about it. The restaurant food was delicious, and the breakfast was fresh and excellent. The coffee was amazing, and the organic milk was such a nice touch. The area is beautiful, and the parking was extremely convenient. I also felt very safe staying there with my two small children. Definitely going back again!”
