“Such a lovely traditional pub with good accommodation, situated in a pretty rural setting, a short drive away from Pickering. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. My husband and I had an evening meal in the pub which was excellent, as was breakfast the following morning. Pet friendly. Would definitely recommend the Horseshoe Inn.”

“This was such a lovely place to stay. We had a room in the annex. We could hear other people come and go and talking in another room, but quiet other than that. The pub was very nice.”

“A decent base, walkable into the centre. This is a separate building to the pub so no late night noise except for others staying over. We stayed one night and this was enough but cleanliness, especially the bathroom, could be improved for longer stays. Staff checking in in the pub were friendly and helpful. Good selection of local options in the lobby.”

“The rooms are spotlessly clean and very comfortable, everything you need for a restful stay. The staff are really helpful and friendly from check in to check out. The food is all cooked to order with a good choice on the menu. Would definitely return when in the area.”
