Hotel a Flanders

“Apparently this hotel has not been open that long. But I have to say that my room was very nice. The staff was great and the restaurant was fantastic. I don’t travel up to that part of Jersey very often, but if I do I certainly will stay there.”

“Housekeeping didn’t change my sheets in the 7 nights I was there. Also never replaced an empty toilet paper holder nor the spare. I had to go to the desk to get some. Had a room at the back of the hotel on the first floor. Whatever was made for breakfast every morning smelled very strong in my room. Also might have a a function and the food smelled super strong. Did not love that at all. Made me nauseous. Staff was nice at the front desk.”

“This was about the 4th or 5th time my husband and I have stayed here. It's a hidden gem. Every single time we go it is such a pleasant experience. We've had a different room each time and I tell you when you open the door to your room, you feel like you're stepping into a small resort. The rooms are clean, comfortable and decorated so nicely. “I checked out after seeing my room. The owner refused to refund my money! The facility was not updated as advertised. The pictures where staged. The appearance of the room was not even close except for the wallpaper behind the bed! I had to drive further down to stay at the Days Inn which was much nicer. Advice to future travels, keep driving! Very dirty!”

“Check-in was quick, and we were asked for a $50 refundable security deposit (booked through Expedia). Parking was plentiful, even during the last weekend of June with a World Cup match nearby. I inspected the room with a UV light, and the bedding was very clean. The bathroom was also clean, though there was a noticeable urine odor upon entering. A better disinfectant or room spray would have helped. The room was quiet with good sound insulation. The gym was limited, with no treadmill....

“At first glance we were impressed by the room but that changed the more time we spent in the room. The room hadn’t been really dusted or vacuumed in a while. The vents were coated in heavy layers of dust as well. The mirror in the bathroom was dirty, the two TVs had no remote controls and the creamer in the coffee station were spoiled since they expired 6 months ago.”
