“Hotel was going through a needed remodel. Nothing was inconvenient , but some area's were in a understandable and necessary mess. No problems , just need patience and understanding for good results. We had a really good view from our room of the river. ”

“Excellent location, safe and quiet. Dog friendly with a dog park right next to the river. On the pricey side for bringing your dog as they charge per day and not a one time charge. Everything in Helen is easy walking distance for shopping and dinning. ”

“We stayed in the king bungalow room with a full kitchen and spacious living room area, complete with a reclining couch and chair. The bedroom was a good size, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was pretty standard. Everything, for the most part, seemed new or nearly new.
Close to everything but not in the middle of it. FYI: The driveway up to the motel is pretty steep, which makes walking up it after a night at the beer halls or bars a little challenging. We would stay again.”

The pool area can use some fresh paint and a good pool cleaning and painting update.
The bathrooms were clean and updated. The room were clean, but can also use some updated paint and fresh flooring.
