“The Copperhead Lodge is a treat! Beautiful surroundings, well maintained grounds, and the guest rooms are just perfect. The restaurant serves delicious food and the staff (both hotel and restaurant) are personable and welcoming. We’ll be back to stay again for sure!”

“We felt like we were in a dangerous place. We actually put the ironing board and a chair in front of the door. The room was very dirty the vents were really dirty. There was no Kleenex in the box. The bathtub was dirty. We actually checked out early.”

“The staff were friendly enough. The rooms are in major need of repair. The ceiling popcorn is coming off the door to the bathroom was broken and a mirror was placed over it. The sheets and towels were stained with something brown. Black mold on the shower doors. All the walls needed some paint. Seems they have not painted or updated since the early 90s. The pool is not in working order. The fitness room was not in working order. The complimentary breakfast was cereal and milk. ”

“ Pleasant and accomadating staff. The stay was ruiined when we went to fill our ice buckeand found a dirty diaper which had been deposited there.The bucket was changed out T the front desk but there was no offer of any type of discount then or at check out for their serious health violation ”

“Room was not clean. It was so incredibly dusty. Just very half done housekeeping. The shower curtain also filthy. But honestly the location and views really took this hotel above and beyond. ”

“Our room was recently remodeled and was clean and spacious. A hot breakfast was available each morning with staff checking to see if we had enough. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. There is a grass courtyard in the back with a fire pit and chairs around it. A picnic table was also available to use. We stayed a full week and will go back again. ”

“Steps are very dangerous as I didn’t know the bottom landing was so dangerous especially for my mother. Thermostat upstairs wouldn’t come on as it looks like it is not attached properly. The place is beautiful outside but overall not for me. ”
