“Room was not ready at check in time at 3. Front staff said she would call me when room was ready. Needless to say, call was not received.”

“Our stay at Hampton Inn was disappointing overall. The AC was not working properly during the night. A staff member came to check it, but the room still stayed very warm. The thermostat was set to 72, and even the fan air felt warm instead of cool, making it very uncomfortable to sleep. The bathroom exhaust fan was also not working. In the morning, we went for breakfast around 9:30 AM, but there was hardly anything left available. The staff was polite and did try to help, but the room...

“Found this resort by accident and it was a total God Wink. It was exactly what we were looking for and loved it. Golf course was fantastic! We will be coming back at least twice a year on our trips back and forth from Florida to New York.”

“This property is nestled by the river, which is such a lovely spot. Donna is such a wonderful innkeeper; she made us feel right at home. The breakfast was both healthy and delicious, and it was made with love. I can’t say enough good things about this place. If you’re searching for a lovely BnB near Shenandoah National Park, this is like home without the chores. If I could give it 6 stars, I would!”

“Room was clean, beds a little stiff but comfy. Good location for some of places around with a little bit of a drive and convenient dining options especially when eating late. Area seemed safe and quiet, was able to park in front of our room which I love! The pillows and towels were a bit lacking though. Gave us three pillows instead of four and they were thin so I had to use the chair cushion to help my head.my wife would have preferred more towels.”

“I was disappointed there was no microwave or coffee machine in the room. There was a refrigerator. Bed was comfortable. The ceiling was peeling and there were a few pot holes and cracked places in the parking lot. A good stay but could use some improvements.”

“The kitchen did not have utensils of any kind, no plates or drinking cups. The TV remotes did not work even after staff came to check it out. Had to leave the TV on all night. Road noise was an annoyance making it tough to sleep.”

“FYI the hotel is not staffed. You get a code via text to open your room. Totally fine. Stayed at the "Tucker Room." The room was very clean, had a kitchen, and well maintained. For housekeeping you simply leave the sign on the door in the morning. However the only downside was that the cable/internet service is horrible. The internet is spotty, slow, and constantly disconnecting. Moreover there is no cable TV - only Roku combined with spotty internet. So you have to have a subscription to those...
