Hotel vicino a Fort Martin Scott Historic Site - Fredericksburg

“Front desk staff was wonderful. We booked a larger room for our stay and enjoyed the extra space. You do have to adjust the temperature at night or it gets brutally hot in your room, but totally fixable. Breakfast was horrible. The waffles were the strangest texture like they used tapioca or xanthan gum to thicken the waffle mix which made it like rubber. We did enjoy the pool area.”

“Our stay at Hoffman Haus was just OK. The breakfast were excellent, and the staff was very accommodating, especially when they provided breakfast early for our departure. However, the property did not quite make our expectations based on the photos and reviews. The accommodations felt more rustic than anticipated and after rain, the gravel parking areas were very muddy, making it difficult to keep the room clean. The room also lacks some practical touches such as floor mats, rugs and bathroom...

“My stay at this Marriott hotel was as good as usual , BUT unfortunately i was very disappointed with the fact that housekeeping did NOT do their part. They fumbled the ball and we were not provided the service. Bed not made, bathroom not cleaned, trash not thrown out etc. Was not given a reason why this happened and was not provided with a solution. Very uncharacteristic of a Marriott establishment. Will wait to see if there is a response to this mishap. Im usually a very understanding person...

“The house is very close to downtown. Parking is plentiful. The house is very quiet. The room has everything that you would need for a long stay and the breakfast delivery in the morning is exceptional. Very pleased with the overall experience”

“A very nice place located at a good location. It felt like home. I particularly enjoyed the soft bed and pillows. The shower was awesome! The staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing that was a minor inconvenience was how difficult it was to open the outside door with the key card.”
