“Booked our stay here well in advance for a 2nd floor balcony over looking Mount McKay. After a 15 hour travel journey my husband & I were looking so forward to sitting out and just relaxing looking at the beautiful view. We have stayed here before and so much enjoy this at the end of our very long journey. Arrived from our long train rides & flights around 8:30pm. “The Nights Inn was a good place to stay for one night on our way passing through. Considering everything else in Thunder Bay was at least double the price, we were happy with experience. Property was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. You can tell they take a lot of pride in their motel. Amenities were fine. Just know there is no coffee maker but there is a Tim’s just down the road. Place is a bit dated but I can’t stress enough that our room was clean beyond our expectations....

“The staff at the Ho Jo are always outstanding, friendly and so accommodating! However, the cost is significantly higher since our previous stay, and I’m wondering if this isn’t influenced by the people displaced from their communities and the wild fires in Canada. It appears all hotels and motels prices have rose substantially.”

“The Courthouse Hotel, an Ascend Collection Hotel, looks great in photos, but our experience was disappointing. We encountered an issue with our reservation dates, and the hotel was unable to assist us in adjusting them. Attempts to contact management were unsuccessful, which was frustrating. I hope they can improve their customer service in the future.”

“Close to a good chicken place - easy to get dinner. Dog friendly. Spacious breakfast room. Would have liked better quality apples and some yogurt too. Enjoyed the spacious room.”

“Room was clean - hallways were showing signs of age with some stains on the carpets. Hotel is easy to find and has a parking area at the back along with a small green space that is ideal for travelling with a small dog.”
