“Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect.”

“When we arrived a notice said we could order logs for the hot tub but on contacting the person he was away until the following week so a bit disappointing Also it stated shampoo body wash etc would be available but we had nothing The overall experience was brilliant just a couple of little tweaks needed

“It was a great place to stay, its something new and different, when i stayed me and wife were the only 2 people checked in, we meet the owner of the property got a tour around the place, the garden area needs a little TLC on the path ways but we didnt mine this it was nice, the owner is extremely happy nice lady she was upbeat and chatting each time she saw us made sure we were okay and check if we needed anything.

“We were visiting to attend a party and as we had plenty of notice decided to splash out on the best room.
It was huge - I could hardly see my wife on the other side! We loved the 4 poster bed (also huge) and the classy period furnture.
The bathroom was well apointed and everything worked well. The automatic lightsvareva good idea, and my wife enjoyed the bath.
The only minor issue wss with yhe windows which are secondary glazed for the winter, but some of the glazing was broken, which made the...

“il locale è suggestivo, ben tenuto, peccato che la cucina sia di scarsa qualità, il cibo o completamente insipido o troppo salato. Il cibo della colazione era troppo cotto e sempre scarso in qualita'. Attenzione: al contrario degli altri hotel in Inghilterra dove sono stata, bisogna pagare all'arrivo e non alla partenza(ci ha causato qualche disagio). Gentile il personale”
