“We were a 4-person group of guys in our late 60s, there for a 5-night stay. The property met our needs, and it was very comfortable. Just minor issues. Got different wifi credentials prior to the trip, which could've been a disaster as there is no cell signal at the house. But the host did provide the proper connection info prior to arrival. “Overall this was an excellent stay. Couple of things would have been nice conveniences, for example, extra blankets, tissues, paper for the fireplace or a fireplace starter. The cabin had a tub, but no shower, which was slightly disappointing. The cabin was clean and comfortable otherwise. We were able to do exactly what we wanted, which was to disconnect for a few days!”

“I found the Rusty Lantern is a beautiful home in the mountains. The rear porch is large with an awesome view. The large kitchen makes preparing meals simple. There is a large table in the kitchen and a huge picnic table on the back porch. The house and porches were perfectly clean, not a spider web in sight. If you want quiet, and I mean really quiet, the Rusty Lantern is for you.”

“We wanted to get away from the heat and we found a great spot for that at Glady Hideaway. Totally shaded and much cooler than out in the sun. We also like to get away from hustle and bustle when we vacation. Glady Hideaway is perfect for that. Small town Elkins nearby had everything we needed: grocery store, gas station, brewery (Big Timber Brewing $5 draft beer!), and coffee shop (Tip Top). “Front door entrance we were greeted with giant spiders and webs! Can't see out windows because screens are ripped and full of cobwebs. Front door needs major oil as it squeaks loud. Interior doors don't stay open had to prop them open. Fans and all lights need major dusting! Firepit chairs were so dirty we didn't use them luckily we brought our own. Garage bin outside was full of flies ECT. Table out back so fithly and unusable. Spiders and worms inside house one of us has very big bite on...
