“We had a great time. It is an older house but wonderful. It is in the country with lots of green fields surrounding it. The porch with the rockers was my favorite place to be when we weren’t site seeing, It was so peaceful. I would definitely stay here again.”

“The house was very spacious. We cooked and ate dinner as a family of 8 and fit us nicely. The beds were comfy. Views from the dinning room windows were beautiful. Everything was clean. We enjoyed our stay.”

“Only bathroom was on 2nd floor so lots of stair climbing which was not ideal for us. Water pressure in bathroom sink was almost non existent but shower was ok. Bed mattress was very high which made getting in the bed difficult for shorter people. Kitchen did not appear to have any heat in it but based on time of year this was a not a big problem. House did have a gas odor I assume from the fireplace which we never did use”

“The property was oversold online to make it look like it had a view of the nearby canal, but it didn't. While I understand the house was 170 years old, it felt like it could fall apart with a false move. The main floor had several chairs, but no couch. The stairs to the top floor were very narrow and you had to be careful going up and down. The 2nd floor was the primary sleeping area with a single bed and futon bed in the landing and a queen bed and bathroom with a sink and toilet. The single...

“The stay was at a beautiful new home. Great host. Location close to Interstate 70. I had everything I needed. Took in the sights in DC via the Greenline Metro. I would definitely stay here again.”

“This is a wonderful spot to stay when visiting Harpers Ferry. The hosts have thought of everything you could possibly need. Their home is neat, clean and convenient to all the things you want to do on a visit to the National Park. Although there were only two of us on this trip, the home could easily handle a family of 5. I would say that all you have to do is bring your toothbrush, but the hosts even supplied toothbrushes in the master bath! An incredible value.”
