Enchanted Hideaway, Hot tub, Close to Main!

Summary:

Honeymoon suite in the heart of the 'Burg! Romance awaits with wrap around fireplace, large gorgeous bathroom, bath robes, with soaking tub for 2 or if you prefer soak in the hot tub by the fire all in your private, fully covered and fenced courtyard. The outdoor shower and stone fireplace are stunning! Wood provided! Luxurious linens, king foam mattress and fabulous décor! Living room suite, kitchenette, and 2 large TVs. **Private transportation and/or wine tours available.



The Space:

Romantic Suite with a big bathroom with tub, private hot tub and patio with fireplace. Managed by Heavenly Hosts



- IMPORTANT: We’ve become aware of ongoing construction next to our property. Unfortunately, this is beyond our control, as we do not own or manage the neighboring property. We are unsure how long the construction will continue or what time it will start each day. We are adding this as a disclosure and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you.



BURN BAN EFFECTIVE - Gillespie County Burn Ban is ON, effective October 14, 2025 at 5:00 PM.: Attached please find a local DECLARATION OF DISASTER & ORDER RESTRICTING OUTDOOR BURNING related to imminent threat of wildfires. Restrictions: NO open fires/burning and NO smoking.

As a result, outdoor wood-burning fire pits are NOT permitted. This mandate is enforced by the city and county and is beyond our control. You are welcome to use Gas fire pits and BBQ grills, if applicable. For charcoal grills, please leave all hot coals in the grill to cool completely, we will handle proper disposal. Please review the property listing to confirm the type of fire pit and grill available, if applicable. If it is discovered that the fire pits/chimineas/outdoor fireplaces were used or wood was burned during your stay, a fine starting at $100 will be applied. This is a serious fire safety issue, and we kindly ask that you comply with all city-mandated regulations. Thank you for your understanding!

We have stayed at many B&B/VRBOs but this was the worst. Seemed great until we went to bed. Sheets smelled musty; woke with itching and a rash and could not go back to sleep. Killed a cockroach in the morning. Tried to leave a msg but no answering service. No Kcup coffee maker for our coffee. Their coffee was not good and we had no creamer. No bottled water either. Got through to their service and reported the issue. Sheets were changed but stilled smelled. Got creamer but no Kcup or water. I requested a one night refund but was refused. Owner never checked with us about my rash. Itching continued and I could not sleep 2nd night. Still have the rash at this time 4 days later.

Hopeful but disappointed.

Booked this for a weekend getaway, and excited about the great listing and how close to town it was. Check in was super easy, we found it easily and were able to walk right in. Very clean and nice decor like the listing. The furnishings were comfortable and a nice layout. Big bathroom and easy access to private courtyard. Immediately thought oh, we’ll be back but upon checkout agreed we would not. Things to know - the WiFi barely worked. That means the tv didn’t work - the entire stay. We did message the hosts and they were quick to reply that there was an outage in the area, but we did not have internet the majority of the stay. We did read in reviews about loud noises but weren’t prepared for how disruptive the noise would be. The house is a couple blocks from town but right off a commercial road with a lot of noise. Friday morning at 630a we were woken up by the sound of the trash pick up. Saturday, the parking lot next door was being re-tarred and re-surfaced, and the noise coming from all the machines/engines was just terrible. Sunday morning at 6a the church bells next door started tolling. And again at 7a and again at 8a. And we like church bells but we were woken up early every morning on a weekend we really just wanted to sleep in. The private courtyard is nice and private and the hot tub was easy to use. However it was dirty. The chairs are stained and there was debris and dirt all over the patio. No broom. Just an overall disappointment.

Nice but not worth the

Very clean. Great location. Patio was amazing. Wood supplied for the outdoor fireplace. The lay out was inconvenient for changing clothes. The remote for the indoor fireplace was broke. There were no steps to get into the hot tub, not a safe way to get in and out. There was no slip resistant rug exiting to the patio, it was very slippery. Ive stayed at many air b&b's in Fredericksburg, there are many others that offer just as many amenities or more at a better price. For the price I paid, i expected more.

Great location

Very nice accommodation. We had some difficulties getting tvs to function but property manager was prompt to address. We were unfortunately unable to make use of the beautiful outdoor space due to weather and fire ban. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and would book this accommodation again.

Anniversary Trip

The Enchanted Hideaway was a perfect place for us to stay. The location was great. The outside sitting was nice and very private. The bathroom was amazing. It is a perfect place for a couple. I wish it had another mirror in the house to use to get ready.
