Di recente costruzione, ma sapore vintage utilizzando materiali di recupero a livello locale, con tutti i comfort moderni ti piace - biancheria di lusso su un letto king, credenza antica, grande illuminazione e ventilatori a soffitto con telecomandi in tutto, angolo scrivania completamente attrezzata in camera da letto grande, soffici accappatoi e asciugamani da bagno , cabina doccia, altezza comodità WC (tutti ADA amichevole), travertino e antichi pavimenti in rovere, cucina completamente attrezzata con elettrodomestici inox e granito, antico tavolo da pranzo in rovere con imbottita in pelle sedie, verande coperte anteriore e posteriore con barbecue all'aperto & grandi posti a sedere per osservare la fauna selvatica - il tutto su una cascina storica tedesca ai margini del centro storico di Fredericksburg, Bella camino a legna roccia nel soggiorno per le serate fredde, ma un fuoco accogliente finto brucia durante il periodo estivo, anche! TV via cavo e wifi gratuito, insieme a caffè, panna e creamers aromatizzati, tè e spuntini per rendere il vostro soggiorno confortevole in questo ADA rifugio accogliente. Venite a godere di tutto il divertimento che Fredericksburg e il circostante Texas Hill Country in grado di fornire, poi tornare a casa e rilassarsi al vostro, rifugio privato tranquilla ai margini della città, con una splendida vista e la fauna selvatica di godere a vostro piacimento.

The stay was great. I did exactly what I had intended to do and that was absolutely nothing. Really enjoyed feeding the deer (corn provided). Just about everything was provided, snacks, some juices, cooking and eating utensils, you name it. The owners were right next door but you really didn’t know it. Great stay, can’t wait to book again.

We had such a delightful time at this wonderful little cottage. The property was clean. Instructions for everything were made clear and easy. We got to wake up and see deer eating 10 feet away from us. And the butterflies flitting around our front as you walk in really gives this cottage a magical touch. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect spot for quiet, comfort, and relaxation, along with quick access to all the fun stuff in downtown fredericksburg. The Fall decor was beautiful. Lynn and Jerry are excellent hosts.

Lynn and Jerry's ADORABLE home exceeded any expectations we had. From the minute you drive up, you are greeted by hundreds of butterflies and Texas flowers. Entering the cottage, the unique decor which is more than comfortable makes you feel right at home. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you would ever need, bathroom is large with fluffy towels and bathrobes. The king size bedroom looks out over the front of the cottage with a view of flowers and butterflies. Nice sized comfortable living room with a TV and beautiful fireplace with a whimsical mantel. Our absolute FAVORITE part of the this house was the covered back porch. In the hot Texas summer the breeze and ceiling fan kept us comfortable. Completely private, we enjoyed our mornings drinking coffee and watching nature wake up. So many hummingbirds came to feed, along with many native birds and of course the deer who walk right up to the fence, ready for their deer corn which is provided by your hosts. The evenings are the best on the porch. We enjoyed a bottle of local Texas wine watching the fireflies and just taking a deep breath. The town offers a lot to do, but believe me, we would have rather stayed in the house the whole time. Lynn and Jerry are terrific hosts. They communicate quickly, have great suggestions and make you feel right at home. This is Texas hospitality at it's finest. We're already planning our next trip!

Our stay was peaceful and relaxing. The location is just a few minutes away from Main Street, but on the edge of country. We enjoyed our evening visits from deer, which we were able to feed with corn, provided by our host. The place was well kept, clean and had most everything we needed to cook, eat with and sleep comfortably. If we visit Fredericksburg again, we’ll definitely arrange to stay here.

Amazing views, peaceful, relaxing, back to nature

This small cottage is a must go to if you are looking to relax and enjoy the outdoors, yet close to Main Street if your going to shop or drink some wine. Lynn and Jerry were so kind. They are amazing hosts. Thank you thank you. We will be coming back to sit and drink my coffee and watch the deer, hummingbirds, finches, cardinals, butterflies, and owls. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!

Olivia and I truly enjoyed our stay, near to town and far enough out to be truly peaceful. Accommodations are excellent. The Hosts had all things in order. I did think I needed to set my alarm however; the deer were always waiting on me for those little magic yellow pellets at the back porch.

Wonderful!

This property is breathtaking! You’re nestled away in a neighborhood that is only about 5 minutes from Main Street, but you feel like you are on your own private land. The deer and wildlife are AMAZING! The deer would come up within 10 feet of us (there’s a fence) and stay for hours! The house is clean, spacious, and so cozy! It’s updated but still has a very neat historical feel to it. The hosts are amazing and so very kind. Would definitely book this again, and several of our friends have asked for the home’s information too. Worth it!

Fantastic hosts! I had my first Cracker Jacks as a treat from their snacks collection. This couple doesn't miss a thing, including the deer corn provided for the many morning and evening visitors from the enormous field behind the house. Awesome!

Lovely & peaceful

This is a lovely, nicely furnished cottage that is perfect for two. If mornings with coffee, or evenings with a glass of wine spent on the back porch with deer and birds to keep you company appeals to you, you’ll love this cottage. And it’s only a 5 minute drive to the historic Main Street. We loved our stay!

Never Been to Perfect 10 before!

No surprise at all that this property gets all 10 reviews. From the minute we walked in the door we felt at home. Super clean, beautifully decorated, everything we needed for our weekend. The thoughtful hosts even left us a very kind and appropriate anniversary card. There were loads of informational pamphlets on a side table. About dusk the deer showed up like paid performers. We didn’t feed them so they wandered off to look for other hand outs. Same thing the next morning, they lost interest in us since we still didn’t feed them. They were beautiful. The back porch was so restful. Birds, deer and interesting plants The bed was super comfortable and sheets smelled wonderful. The whole weekend was as if we were in a different world even though we live only 70 miles away. We are already trying to think of excuses to get back to Fredericksburg and stay longer at the cottage. Thank you Lynn and Jerry.

Amazing place to stay!

The Samples are amazing host! They thought of everything you would need. The Samples are very detail people and their hospitality is superb. We enjoyed the quietness of the property, feeding the deer and the comforts of home, and so close to Main Street! My husband and I will be visiting the Samples again.

This place is even better than advertised! It’s charming and welcoming. Super clean everywhere. Lynn and Jerry have created a gem here. I definitely want to go back when we can stay longer. Wonderful inside and out.
