“I never leave negative reviews and overall we loved the hotel. Beware, however, the hotel charged me a balance remaining between them and Expedia stating I needed to seek a refund from Expedia for them underpaying my stay. I paid the same price on Expedia as the advertised hotel rate. I was also charged for parking on property and did not. I’ve left messages since my stay for the GM and have not heard back him.”

“Very friendly and helpful staff. We felt very welcome when we arrived after a long drive. The lobby was also so bright, clean, cheerful and welcoming. We were very happy with our room, it was spacious and very clean. I would definitely stay here again”

“The hotel is very conveniently located on Route 17, a few tenths of a mile from I95. The room was clean. Breakfast was fine; eggs, sausage, oatmeal, and fruit. Coffee was blazing hot. The TV in the room offered a ton of channels, which was nice. We never tried the WiFi. Room rate was around $130 with taxes, affordable. Would stay here again.”

“We have stayed here before and always loved it but this visit was less than pleasant. We called to confirm accessible amenities for our daughter and had to speak to 3 different front desk staff to get any answers. The lobby was dirty with ice cream spilled on the floor. and the front desk staff sat on their phones. Our room was not completely cleaned. When we went to use the lift for the pool it hadn’t been charged so wasn’t operational. It was not a great stay and the staff seemed to not care...

After traveling 8 hours we arrived at Towneplace Suites in Fredericksburg where we were told our rooms had been canceled the day before. There was a horse race going on and they sold our rooms right out from under us, most likely for a higher rate. “Very large rooms, they dont clean it everyday, i appreciate the breakfast, the gym is less then essential but it is available at all times. Reception personell is very gentle. Good parking area, some stuff are vintage and the elevator doesnt work properly.”
