“I never leave negative reviews and overall we loved the hotel. Beware, however, the hotel charged me a balance remaining between them and Expedia stating I needed to seek a refund from Expedia for them underpaying my stay. I paid the same price on Expedia as the advertised hotel rate. I was also charged for parking on property and did not. I’ve left messages since my stay for the GM and have not heard back him.”

“The property is excellent; the facilities are excellent BUT some of the staff need training in hospitality especially for an exceptional property in a historic area. “Very friendly and helpful staff. We felt very welcome when we arrived after a long drive. The lobby was also so bright, clean, cheerful and welcoming. We were very happy with our room, it was spacious and very clean. I would definitely stay here again”

“The hotel is very conveniently located on Route 17, a few tenths of a mile from I95. The room was clean. Breakfast was fine; eggs, sausage, oatmeal, and fruit. Coffee was blazing hot. The TV in the room offered a ton of channels, which was nice. We never tried the WiFi. Room rate was around $130 with taxes, affordable. Would stay here again.”

“I booked and prepaid for2 rooms 9 months before our trip to the Outer Banks as a stay over on the way. After traveling 8 hours we arrived at Towneplace Suites in Fredericksburg where we were told our rooms had been canceled the day before. There was a horse race going on and they sold our rooms right out from under us, most likely for a higher rate. They blamed Expedia, but I had received a message from Expedia the day before confirming our reservation. The receptionist told us to go to the one...

“Very large rooms, they dont clean it everyday, i appreciate the breakfast, the gym is less then essential but it is available at all times. Reception personell is very gentle. Good parking area, some stuff are vintage and the elevator doesnt work properly.”
