“Crumbs and dog hair all over carpet. Upstairs tenant was extremely loud the whole entire 48 hrs of my stay. Blew cigarette smoke at us every time we came in the front entrance while he was outside smoking. Not an accurate description or photos, don’t waste your money.”

“You can’t go wrong with the College Inn. It’s closer to UW campus than my Husky’s dorm! The staff are kind and responsive. It has an amazing, huge loft common area with comfy seating areas, big tables, fridge, sink, and coffee/tea, ”

“A decent place to stay when exploring the Ballard area. Walking distance to everything. Room was small and well-equipped. Walls are very thin, so having earplugs provided was much appreciated. Seems strange to offer a coffee machine in the room without mugs, but we walked downstairs to the kitchen to grab one. Walls need a good clean, but everything else was pretty good.”

“There seem to be 2 sides to the property. We were upgraded to a wonderful King bedroom suite! It was great!! Staff was super helpful and the cookies were great”

“Don’t be fooled, this is not a “suite”, it is a tiny room with a bathroom. The property is a large “home” with multiple different rooms and paper thin walls, so if you’re lucky like us you might get another guest who likes to slam the fridge door, microwave, or their shower door at 2am. Also note that the kitchen is a shared kitchen, which has limited mentions in the description, so this is not exactly a private stay. The kitchen had an odd smell, from everyone’s food and the free street parking...

“The Hotel is such a great location for the UW! Great shops and food all in walking distance, too. The Pointdexter cafe that is part of the hotel has wonderful coffees and great healthy breakfast options that were so appreciated! The hotel itself is such a fun, quirky vibe and had a great view from our room to the water. Will stay again if visiting UW!”

“This place is in a beautiful area and easy to get around. It was very clean and cute. I loved waking up and looking at the forestry area across the street. Communication is top notch! I did have issues with the stairs, but that not their issue. I would recommend that if you are not a couple you get seperate rooms. Even then, it is cheaper than a hotel. I would stay there again! ”

“Our favorite part of our room was the view it had an amazing view and everytbing was easy to figure out as well during our stay. Super close to bus routes as well so super easy to travel ”
