Newly progettato Waterfront Get Away

Totalmente ristrutturato casa di un livello lago, sul canale Lago Nero, ospita 9 persone 60 piedi di spiaggia di sabbia, dock barca con area di layout, fuoco pit dalla spiaggia!La nostra famiglia ha tanto divertimento qui e vorrebbe condividerla con la tua. La casa si siede sul tranquillo cestino. La cucina, la sala da pranzo e il soggiorno sono un concetto aperto, quindi è molto bello per famiglie numerose. Soggiorno è 20 da 20 in modo che le persone possono dormire anche lì. Molto pulito, pavimenti in legno per tutto, tranne salotto, controsoffitti in cemento, lavatrice e asciugatrice in garage.     We love the cabin feel of the home and the open spaces. Everyone has space to puzzle, play games, eat, enjoy cooking. You walk out to the lake with no steps to climb and the kids all love to play in the sand. It's a close 2 hr drive. This is our 4th trip to enjoy the home, lake and sand bar.

    We had a great stay. The house has all the basic needs & then some. Communication was great with the host too. Our family loved being able to use the beach area in front of the cottage & the large back yard area was perfect for our group as not everyone stayed all week but because we were close to home they could all come and go when it was convenient. We do this trip every few years and this by far was our favorite place to stay. A truly special cottage that made for a backdrop of great memories for us.

    Great Spot

    Great spot, nice dock, well-equipped kitchen. Plenty of waterfowl and birds. Well-kept neighborhood. On the downside, the water had a powerful sulfur smell, and the bed sheets were scratchy.

    Family Vacation

    I love this house and this is my 3rd stay. I love that it is rustic and modern at the same time. Walking out to the water, beach and dock in the morning is amazing. It's close to our area so the drive from our New Knoxville Oh area is short compared to traveling to other vacation areas. The weather was great... There is a camp fire area the kids love at night. You have a dock for our boat the house everything you need. The kids love the big living room. The bathrooms have been redone since last visit and nicely. New sliding glass doors. Thanks Micah will be back.

    This place was perfect for a family with young children, our kids were in the water nonstop when we weren’t on the boat. Plenty of space inside and out to run around and for the family to gather. We will definitely be back!

    Perfect!! 🌅

    “Perfect!” This is how every family member described this beautiful lake house! My husband and I rented this home for a week to spend time with nearby family. We invited my elderly in-laws to join us. This lake house is gorgeous and so family-friendly! We enjoyed: - Easy, low key check-in and out. - Great communication with the owner. I called to talk with him a few days before we checked in to ask a couple of questions and he was just wonderful. - A complete feeling of welcome lasted throughout our stay. There were spices, basics like sugar and baking soda, condiments and ice at the home for our use. The kitchen was very well-stocked, and I added a jumbo-sized cutting board and left it there for everyone to use in the future. - The place was immaculate, there were plenty of extra blankets and towels, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. - Everything has been renovated and was of the highest quality but not so fancy that you were afraid to use it. - They had a large outside griddle and pellet smoker for cooking on the patio, and skewers for roasting marshmallows. - Outside the fire pit was fabulous and the furniture was comfy. We had a fire every day. - The pier is huge with plenty of room for fishing, sunning and boat dock. We rented a pontoon for sunset cruises. - Everything’s accessible - great lake views inside & only one step down to the fire & lake! We had a perfect week. Thanks to the owners for sharing this magical place!

    Great place

    The house was amazing for entertaining and we loved the kitchen! The location was perfect, we sat on the end of the pier every morning and had coffee it was so peaceful! The swing in the yard was a huge hit and provided a lot of entertainment for our kiddos. The only thing we thought could have been better was the cleanliness and the screen door fixed along with the door that led into the garage. The patio, outside furniture, and house could use a really good power wash-which I would suggest doing more often. We paid quite a bit for 5 days and expected alittle bit better presentation. Overall good experience

    Family Vacation

    It's lake living and our kids and grandkids love the beach, the pier fishing, the very large back yard with an amish swing. There are very few houses right at the waters edge, so you walk out of the house and can enjoy the lake with literally one step. My brother with MS was able to visit me for a day and even able to get a boat ride. The area in the house is open and family friendly. There is a great fire pit out back our family enjoyed. The house looked freshly painted and clean. We set up bed tents on all the beds that slide out and our grandkids loved having a fun place to sleep. Thanks for sharing your lake home.

    Great location, needs some attention

    Beautiful lake, the curb appeal and water access are amazing. Inside was not as clean as it should be (Fridge was empty but dirty, freezer totally full of stuff). Walls were patched in places but not painted. Closet doors were not in their tracks. Listing says sleeps 9 people but 3 single mattresses are on the floor under the beds (not trundles), and the kitchen had only 6 forks and spoons. Also not enough pillows for my group of 8, so we bought some at Walmart.

    Perfect location!

    Our family of four had a wonderful time at the house and the lake. The house was exactly as pictured - lovely. Plenty of space inside and out. The kids swam in the water by the docs. We fished and went tubing. We took a boat ride to the Marina (very close) and enjoyed Tom’s donuts. Only negative no hangers in the closets. The owner Micah was very responsive. We will definitely return!

    Great location

    The house was clean and we had plenty of space. Everything you need is right at your fingertips. Back yard was awesome. The kids loved the beach and fishing off the dock and especially loved the swing. I have already booked this house for next year. You won't be disappointed.

    We spent 5 days and truly enjoyed our time!! The house had even we needed! The only thing that I would change is the cleanliness of the master bathroom! The property is beautiful and the living area is very nice!!

    Awesome lake get-away

    We had a fantastic time at this property. Wonderful for small children with the sandy walk out off the pier. Property was as described, equipped with everything we needed. We will absolutely be staying here again!

    Beautiful cottage and location

    Micah and his wife were wonderful hosts! Generous and helpful. The cottage is the perfect size and layout for a family get-away. It was a peaceful vacation and we can’t wait to do it again.

    Family vacation - Retirement

    The location of this house is one the best on lake snow. There are one step to the outside of the backyard, so for those that find steps, gravel, long walk to the dock, this house is perfect. The house is laid out very family friendly, everyone had good beds and pillows. Our grand daughter spent hours on the swing and there was room to set up a blow up toy for her on the property. plenty of room of ring toss, bean bag toss, and fishing. We rented a boat for our family time, there is a dock and then a pier for just laying out in the son. We were they early in the season but our kids had fun kayaking. I did share with the owner that there was limited freezer space, check that before you go shopping. On the flip side he gave us a pack of Bison burgers to try, and the boys enjoyed them. We will rent again.

    Adorable lake house, fully equipped

    We had a wonderful time at the lake! This house had everything we needed, and lots of extras too. The kitchen is fully equipped, washer/dryer, linens, and everything in the house was renovated. The only issue we had was slippery wood floors (which wasn't really an issue with proper foot attire), so be sure to wear your gripper socks. The view from the back room is wonderful with windows on all sides, and we enjoyed a lovely fire in the fire pit outside while enjoying the water view. Thank you for sharing your lovely place with us. We had a great time!

    We had a great time at this beautiful home. It had everything we were looking for to relax and enjoy our trip. It was peaceful and the scenery was great. This wasn’t just a location for lodging, but felt like home, thanks to the TLC the owners have put into the property. It’s clear that they want anyone that stays here to enjoy the property as much as they do! We also enjoyed the pictures the owners shared of their renovation journey, which made us appreciate the home even more.     Beautiful views from the several large windows overlooking the lake from the back of the house.

    Very nice December stay in this lovely house. Over the weekend the lake went from flowing water to covered in ice with a blanket of snow. The layout of the house had a nice inviting flow to it with good spaces, clean, comfortable and was smartly decorated. Quiet location at an end of a peninsula. Pokagon State Park just a few miles away. Homeowner allowed us to use their State park pass...thank you! Easy to book the house, homeowner responded to my inquiries in a timely manner, the kitchen was well stocked and they even threw in a package of bison burgers...which were great! A very nice place to stay and it would definitely be a great place for a family getaway.

    Property was as shown , we had a nice time fishing and spending time with our family!

    The only thing I would change would be heavier curtains on the bedroom windows we were always woken up at the crack of dawn.I want to thank Micah for allowing my Daughter to bring her little 5 pound sick Pappion, unfortunately she took a turn for the worse on Wednesday and had to be put down on Friday. We are all heartbroken ,but so glad we got to spend her last week with her. Thanks again for being an animal lover!

    Incredible lake home!

    This cottage is really nice! It is clean, well stocked, and beautifully remodeled. The view from the living area and one of the bedrooms is gorgeous. The owner communicated well. We would definitely stay here again.

    Newly updated home on the water

    We enjoyed our weekend stay at this lovely home right on the water. It was close to Pokagon State Park and fairly close Chain of Lakes where we spend time hiking. Although we went during the spring when the temperature was cool, this looks like a great place to go during the summer and fall. We had 7 adults and we were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, and we enjoyed cooking one of our meals with the smoker. This was a great half way meeting place between Chicago and southwest Ohio.
