“Struttura vecchia, pulizie superficiali. Spifferi dalla finestra, moquette antica, ragnatele, wc credo mai pulito nel vano interno del bordo, incomprensione tra reception e bar, breakfast domenicale 30 minuti per avere un caffè dopo 2 lamentele, parcheggio troppo stretto, vista fiume con le tende dei campeggiatori sul lato opposto.”

“I loved this place. When I go to England, I enjoy these smaller, transformed hotels much more than bigger ones and Hand and Spear has been the best. The room I got was spacious with ample wardrobe space and beautiful decor. The bath was insane with a beautiful claw foot tub. I’m very self-sufficient when I travel so I don’t expect a room made up each day but I’m sure they would accommodate you and they quickly brought extra towels when I asked. The thing is…my room had food and a little fridge...

"In questi anni l’ho usato molto spesso, anche prima della ristrutturazione. Mi sono trovata bene ed è pulito e in una zona comoda e centrale, sia per i mezzi di trasporto che per poter mangiare. L’unica cosa che manca, secondo me, è un bollitore per un caffè o qualcosa di simile."
