“A very nice remodel of a motor court motel with all new interior, heating, and plumbing. Comfortable with large TV and nice beds. Very clean. Future additions might include a microwave oven, coffee cups for the coffee maker, and some wall decor. Overall, a very nice room for basecamp to local adventures..”

“I booked the Spruce Room, which has extremely dated pictures online. There have been years of use when you actually view the place. The kitchen has stains and marked up tiles, bathroom is barely clean with black mold in the back of toilet. All 4 of our beds had dirty linens and since there is no on-site manager, they had us raid the emergency shed and hopefully retrieve extra sheets. These sheets were all unusable. They reeked of mildew. Our family had nowhere to sleep that night, so we had to...

“We loved our stay at this hotel. It is in a perfect location for winter and sunmer adventures, and not far from Lake Placid shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the comfortable room and sauna after a long day on the mountain, and the stocked kitchen made it easy and efficient to fuel up in the mornings. We will definitely return here again when we plan our next Adirondack adventure!”

“My daughter that we were visiting near there has a severe allergy to strong scents, and we were thrilled to find the room and the reception area scent free! Only smell we could smell was new wood, which doesnt bother her. The staff said they use environmentally conscious cleaning products. “Basic motel room, parking out front. TV either didn't work or I couldn't figure it out. Hot water subject to use by other guests, heat worked well. Bed was very good, rest full night's sleep.”

The wallpaper is peeling off the wall in the bathroom and the back window doesn’t lock.
