“The property is ideal for groups snowboarding or skiing. A 15 minute walk from the Yuzawa-Gala gondola, which is also the train station. There is also a ski and snowboard rental place 100 metres down the road which offer reasonable pricing, good service and a bus/van drop off service.”

“It was great experience staying at this place. Right after we went to gala Yuzawa ski came back to the hotel and dipped ourselves into the large Ofuro in the basement. Smoking was not allowed inside or well outside the house so it was the only problem me and my friends faced during the stay but all in all we enjoyed our stay at the place. Place is warm and cozy. Recommend for friends and family or in groups over 5 people. ”

“This is an exceptional ryokan. Only three rooms but very large rooms with a sunroom with "western style" chairs for those of us who aren't as limber as we used to be. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Quiet location with excellent views of the mountains. The food here is sensational and comes with English explanations of the dishes. They are very particular in adhering to any requests guests may have with regard to what they can and can't eat. The dining room has "western style" seating...

“毎年スキー旅行で利用しています。２月は料金高めでしたが、３月のこの時期になるとだいぶ安くなって助かります。 予約時には食事は付けられませんでしたが、チェックインの時に朝食ビュッフェを追加することができました。(税込¥1430)夕ごはんは近所に食べに行きました。 コンビニ派にはロビーに電子レンジ、各階に給湯器や共用冷蔵庫もあり便利だと思います。 お風呂は広くて清潔でのんびり入れました。チェックアウト後、スキー終わりにもう一度入浴させてもらえるのは本当にありがたいです(^^)”

“Very traditional Japanese style inn. If you are looking for stainless steel, soulless, and sterilized, this is not the place for you. This place is old, with all of the patina that comes with that. The breakfast is an incredible traditional country food buffet with local highlights. The reception was warm and kind- and the tatami rooms were very spacious.
