“This property is a stunning gem away from the heat and bustle of Galle Fort. A beautiful pool and a sea breeze is definite respite during the day A 5 minute tuk tuk ride will take you to the Fort. The rooms are large. The beds very comfy. The shower was perfect. All decorated simply and in keeping with the building 150 year age. Then there is Mohan who appears like magic when you need something. He is kind and friendly, the perfect host..if he offers to make you a traditional lunch or dinner...

“Horrible experience! Staff was very slow and room service was disappointing! Room was outdated and appliances/lights barely worked. However, nothing compares to the elevator. There was an elevator malfunction and it slammed shut quickly on my toddlers head!!! The hotel staff apologized but to what point? Never would recommend this hotel to anyone and this definitely should not be 5 stars!!!”

“We had a lovely stay here but not without issues. The place itself is lovely, the staff were great and very welcoming. We opted to go for the premium room with the outdoor shower however on arrival we had a loud and leaky AC unit. We spoke to the team and they were unable to get spare parts to fix it because of independence day which was incredibly annoying as all night it rattled and droned. It was incredibly hot and the owner suggested we had it on high heat and low breeze to try and make the...
