“it was so lovely but i think on the off chance ive woke up from my sleep covered in itchy bites/spots on my body. my partner was fine so i dont think it was anything serious but please be mindful if allergic to dust or anything to take antihistamines before your stay if you’re prone to them like me. put a little downer on my stay as have come here before and have never experienced this, staff were very apologetic and assured me they would inform house keeping about it though”

“We loved the spacious rooms. Free bottle of water was a nice gesture. The rooms are nice and quiet - beds and pillows very comfortable. Bathrooms could possibly benefit from some updates - looking a little tired. Breakfast was good value for money - plenty of choice and nice food. Bar area is lovely - great wine list! All the staff we encountered during our stay were friendly and super helpful. Highly recommend a stay here”

“Stayed here Mon-Fri. My initial opinion of this place was very good. Staff were very friendly and appeared efficient. Check-in was easy. Rooms are very good with a ceiling fan and additional tower fan in the room which was helpful during the recent spell of hot weather. Breakfast was good. Couldn’t connect my laptop to their wifi so had to use mobile network. Food in the restaurant was good and delivered piping hot but service is slow and food is a bit pricey. “Absolutely fabulous place. Staff go out of their way to be helpful. The building is fantastic. The restaurant food is of highest quality. The only criticism I would have is that the breakfast menu is extremely limited. Overall well worth a visit.”
