JW and Edward made us feel immediately welcome, and Jim brought a wonderful, rustic charm to the experience—complete with Aqua Velva and classic, old-school amenities. Combined with the stunning turn-of-the-century decor, five-star dining, an incredibly comfortable room, and flawless room service, our stay was nothing short of perfect.”

“The rooms are old. The sink in the bathroom started leaking and you get a little shock if you touch the meta screw when switching on the bathroom light. The vending machine doesn't work and the hotel doesn't reimburse you. The personnel is nice and efficient ”

“Staff are gracious and communication is awesome! I loved the layout and design finishes (feels very posh)! The amenities are very much appreciated, including the huge refrigerator, washer and dryer (bigger than what I have at home)! I felt very relaxed and looked forward to returning to the room. Our friends were equally impressed and will look into Placemakr properties in the future.”

“This place is a scam. The room we had cost $354.00 and was a small attic, with old cheap jungle stuff lying around. No AC, No windows that opened, and one window you can look out, nothing like the pictures showed, NOTHING. Breakfast was 45min late, in the morning we could not find anyone who we could speak with, that didn't need a translator app. This felt like a room where a John would take their trick, except as expensive as the Grand America. Horrible place.”
