Cottage in Galway

“This was our favorite stay in Ireland. It was nice to have a cottage to ourselves as a headquarters. The space is charming and we loved having kitchen and laundry available. We were able to do several day trips from there. The hosts were extremely helpful and had great recommendations. We also loved hearing a bit about the property history.”

“Perfect location to explore Connemara and a lovely property, beautifully renovated for a most comfortable stay. Lovely hosts with great suggestions and a playful dog to make us feel at home. We particularly loved fly fishing at Ballynahinch Castle (Hugh as our guide), exploring the Killary fjord area (scenic cruise was nice) and Kylemore Abbey, the ferry to Aran islands. Accommodating our unique request, the managers made extra arrangements we required. Central to west Connemara, perfect for visiting the national park and Sky Road.”

“Lovely, well-designed and well-equipped house, charming hosts, beautiful area. Lots of information on its flora, fauna and history among the well-lined bookshelves. Car needed, good shopping facilities in nearby Letterfrack and Clifden. Fresh fish for sale in Letterfrack on Thursday and Friday mornings. All six of us (one Irish, two Germans, three French) were delighted with our stay.”

“A beautiful Stone Cottage in the misty Plains of Western Irland. We enjoyed our stay very much! A couple of suggestions for improvement... there was no light for returning in the dark and entering through the back door. There seemed to be lamps with movement detectors on the outside of the house but they did not work. Also we were told to keep the Gate shut to keep the sheep out - however one day when we returned the gate had been opened after we had shut it. The restaraunt in town Olivers was a...
