“Nicest hotel we've stayed at in a long time! We don't usually spend a ton on hotels - we are Microtel - Hampton Inn types. This Home2Suites in West Ashley (Charleston) was phenomenal. Everything was super clean and they had ALL the amenities you could wish for - pool, exercise room, amazing breakfast, all-day coffee. Did I mention CLEAN? My teenagers loved this place so much. “First of all the staff at this location are top notch! Everyone from the front desk to the maintenance to the breakfast staff. Bravo!
The rooms are cozy, cool and relaxing. The amenities are well maintained and there are plenty of them if you want to use the. The sitting areas are comfortable and well maintained. The breakfast is very good and the staff is on it to keep it clean and things refilled.
Overall for an older building this is an excellent choice when in Charleston. Its well located...

“The bedding was old and had permanent stains. We had to change sheets ourselves. The bathroom needed a better cleaning, with random hair and dirt in the corners. When we arrived, only one elevator was working, and it was moving slowly. At check-out, both elevators were broken. Had to carry all our luggage downstairs.”
