“A lovely slightly quirky pub/hotel with a Jamaican feel and menu. Very comfortable accommodation and a great breakfast with a friendly and welcoming staff team A little bit of bar noise from the pub if you are an early to bed type, and you are staying on a main road so there is some traffic noise if you want the window open. Having said that, we would definitely stay again when in the area. 5 minutes drive into Lewes. The main road isn't walking friendly.”

“I enjoyed a one-night stay very much, in the cleverly designed single room with its own separate bathroom. Very welcoming, all amenities provided (apart from a holder for toothbrush and paste, but it is a very small bathroom!) and beautifully presented and tasty breakfast. A word of warning if you're walking there from the station - it's uphill and quite steep!”

“Clarissa, the new manager of the property, made our stay fun and easy! Our room even had its own patio! She sorted out dinner reservations and transportation so that our stay was flawless. Breakfast was delicious (and huge!), served exactly as we asked, enabling us to get on with our day. I highly recommend this property!”
