Cottage a Georgetown

“We just love the live music and people in Austin. Our little cottage was perfect for the two of us. We appreciated the cleanliness. We will definitely stay again! ”

“This was not as advertised. There isn't a safe path to the water, and once you get there it looks post-apocolyptic at best thanks to the alligator gar skeletons and murky water. Also, this says it sleeps 4, but there's only a full size bed in the corner of the room. So it sleeps 2 uncomfortably close. We left shortly after we arrived.”

“This is a nice property for a weekend stay. A beautiful view and a short walk to downtown. There are porches upstairs and downstairs to relax and enjoy your time.”

“Wife and I wanted to get away for a quick trip to take our dog hiking and see the Harry Potter thing they had in Bastrop. This place was a great, easy location for trails and coffee shops around. Nice driveway to use and the bedding was very comfortable! ”

“We’ll start with the positives: owner was responsive to questions and concerns; location was a short walk to The Island where we could watch the sunset over the water. Beyond that it was, sadly, a disappointment. The front yard/entry was overgrown so the entry path wasn’t useable. The house itself is dated and shows obvious wear, and hadn’t been used in a while. There were clumps of dust in the corners, burrs in the carpet, old, mismatched, dirty dishes & glasses and so much mold in the master...
