“The staff was incredibly kind, they even arranged a small breakfast to take away for us when they knew we had to check out too early to get it in the hotel. The place is conveniently located a few minutes from the lake and many bike rental shops, and it has a great zen vibe with industrial design. Only suggestion is to make some stronger separation between the room and the bathroom, since as it is now it is basically all an open space. ”

“It is on the bike track and 10 minutes walking distance from Shuishe Pier. It locates at a quiet area and its bachyard is facing Sun Moon Lake. Great breakfast made by the owner himself. The room is very clean and well maintained. If you are looking for a quiet and reasonable price place to stay, this is a great choice. ”

Chad offered some awesome recommendations for renting bicycles and getting around the lake to see the sights. Linda cooked an amazing breakfast for us each morning. “This property was incredibly lovely. It is well outfitted and conveniently located. Everything is nice, new and sparkling clean. The host goes out of her way to make sure all you could possibly want is taken care of. Breakfast is varied and delicious. The best coffee I’ve had in Taiwan. It is within steps of the boat landing, the bike route and the cable car to the Formosa Village. The charm of this little hotel made going to Sun Moon Lake all the better. ”

“We had a lovely stay at this European-style hotel. The room was relatively spacious for a family, even with just two beds. The front desk staff was exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. While the location on the south side of the lake is a bit tucked away and takes more effort to reach, it is surrounded by a vibrant old street with plenty of life and things to do. ”

“Room was very clean except for the suede sofa (there were a few old stains on it). Staff was very friendly and made the check-in experience seamless. They offer free bug spray use in the lobby. Location was very convenient, we were just a few minutes walk away from Ita Thao pier for the ferry and restaurants/shops.
