Hotel vicino a Gilpin History Museum - Central City

“I have always enjoyed visiting and staying at your casino/hotel for many years. By far, always the best option in BlackHawk! However, this past week’s visit was disappointing. I may be mistaken, but I thought I made a reservation for a premier king size room with more square footage and other amenities? The TV screen was consistently going in and out and refreshing the screen in our room number 1030 last Wednesday night. Then when it was refreshed, the audio was not in sync with the screen....

“Check in time was at 1600 finally got into Dome at 1915 they had a fire ban which wasn't listed on site so no cooking or fire pit... Ac unit began leaking the first night was right above bed got breakfast for free but they didn't open till 130 at which time we were heading to get something to eat elsewhere... Not enough staff for the units and it was a Wednesday... Trouble setting outside of dome need to take another look at the plastic which impeded the view... 4 out of 10...”

“Restaurants weren’t all opened making it limited food possibilities. Room service menu changed at 9pm.”

“Tried to check in no one was there for over 3 hours. When I was able to check in got a early check in charge at 3:56 pm. 4 minutes early. Have not received my deposit back yet. No one came by asking if I wanted a drink. Machines were extremely tight. Staff was not very friendly.”

“There was no check in from housekeeping to see if I needed anything. I ran out of the water. I would have liked to have more of that. The wallpaper was peeling off the wall. The vending machine on my floor was hard to use. I don't like the fact you have to pay 2.00 to take your food to the room. My trash was overflowing and since no housekeeping, it just built up. Now I did like my room on the top floor. The casino, even though I lost all my money that I use for gambling, it was nice. The...

“Such a lovely stay and room! Breakfast was wonderful and loved chatting with the owner. Will definitely go back!”

“Beautiful scenery and loved walking around the lake. Clean room and enjoyed the view out the window. Front desk seemed occupied, however, once greeted everything went well. Front desk gave me a coupon for the restaurant next door for a 10 percent discount.”

“The room was large, clean and had a mini fridge which was helpful. The front desk gentleman was wonderful.”

“I was not pleased that there was no air conditioning in the unit. You had to open windows and turn on the overhead fan.”

“We really loved our stay! It is a beautiful spot and the home is well built in the high winds. We had a few small issues we noticed and the hosts were quick to take care of them while we were there. We did not quite realize the altitude was as high as it was, (we were coming from 1,000 feet) but the view and beauty made it worth it. The sauna, hot tub and wood stove were all wonderful ways to stay warm in the chilly winter. ”
