An awesome Bach right by the beach

We had a lovely stay in Wainui beach. The home was perfectly situated close to the beach, and within walking distance of a great little coffee shop. The hosts were incredibly helpful and accommodating.

Simple, pleasant and friendly

Kate and Anton's place was exactly what we were looking for. The check in process was clear and felt very casual and trusting. The kitchen was well equipped and stocked, ready for cooking with our own food. Despite Kate and Anton living just above, it felt private yet friendly. Recommend for those looking for a spot close to the surf, an indoor space to chill and for those who will do a bit of self-catering.

Great place to stay on Wainui Beach

We had a great time staying at Lobbsters, enjoyed the beach and coastal cycleway at our doorstep. There was a great little coffee shop a few minutes walk away, and fantastic eateries a short drive into town. The ground floor apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and was nice and easy to cool even on a hot summer day.

Great communication with the owners of the property prior to arrival. Wonderfully quiet location within a stone’s throw of the beach. Tidy and cozy. Suited our needs nicely.

Comfortable & relaxing stay

We had a really lovely stay. A cosy bach that is only a stone's throw to the beach. We were super comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. Anton & Kate were super welcoming on arrival, giving us some local tips.

Mother and Daughter Stay at Lobbster's Lodge

My Mother , aged 92, and myself loved this retro place to stay It was positioned a stones throw away from the Beach. It was comfortable and well maintaned. Hosts, Anton and Kate were most accommodating. Their 3 children were also very polite and friendly. Thank you. We had a wondrerful wee holiday

Just what we needed

Catherine and Anton were friendly and helpful. Close to beaches and room out back for our surfboards. We paid a lot because it was only on e night but would have liked to stay longer. Negatives: not many no aircon, could have done with some milk for morning coffee. Recommended
