“Morag and Davey were wonderful hosts with a beautiful home. Morag making sure I was happy and making a beautiful cooked breakfast every day I was there. Davey even reinflated my tyre with his tractor so I could get my car to the local tyre fitting place. “Hotel was clean and warm with lovely decor, seemed to have been recently decorated. Staff service at breakfast was superb , as was the food from the varied menu. It was also great that they encouraged us to bring takeaway back to the lounge when their own restaurant is not serving - a good way to support neighbouring businesses. ”

“Abbiamo avuto problemi con l’auto e siamo arrivati in hotel molto tardi. La cucina era chiusa ma ci hanno fatto accomodare e ci hanno offerto toast e birra dato che non avevamo cenato ed eravamo stanchi. Questa mattina ci hanno aiutato con l’auto. Camera spaziosa e bellissima vista sul fiume. Colazione abbondante e personale molto gentile. Non posso che dire: ottimo! Ci tornerei”

“We enjoyed our stay at the Victoria Hotel. Great location central very close to the Jahangir indian restaurant we had booked a meal at. Very clean room, comfy bed, nice shower with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided. A nice trolley was in room with coffe, tea facilities and jelly beans and biscuits.
