Affacciato sulla sabbia e surf con spiaggia a pochi passi dalla tua porta

Casa sulla spiaggia a Gleneden Beach (abbastanza tratto di spiaggia 1 miglio a sud di Lincoln City). Questo cottage dolce e scandole mette l'oceano davanti e al centro, con una vista panoramica elevata da ogni finestra della grande sala. Troverai facile rilassarti e rilassarti nel lussuoso soggiorno completo di TV a schermo piatto / DVD / Blu-ray a parete, caminetto a gas e il suono sempre presente del surf. Ti piacerà guardare le balene dal tavolo da pranzo e vedere i pellicani e altri uccelli marini scivolare via mentre fai i piatti nella cucina completamente attrezzata. Anche la lavanderia ha una fantastica vista sull'oceano! Le due camere da letto della regina sono sul lato orientale più silenzioso della casa. Amerai la soleggiata entrata privata del cortile e il ponte occidentale è trasparente ma schermato dal vento, con mobili da pranzo e sedie Adirondack. L'accesso alla bellissima spiaggia di Gleneden è proprio accanto al vialetto d'accesso, quindi puoi salutare i tuoi ospiti dal portico mentre corrono verso l'acqua. Gleneden Beach ti mette tra Lincoln City e Depoe Bay e Newport per alcune meravigliose gite di un giorno, ma puoi semplicemente goderti le passeggiate lungo il mare ed esplorare la città di Gleneden Beach. C'è golf e un centro benessere di classe mondiale nella vicina Salishan, un bar-caffetteria / wine bar chiamato Red Roof e deliziosi ristoranti al Side Door Cafe. Vieni a riempire i tuoi occhi e il tuo spirito con la bellezza di Gleneden Beach con un soggiorno a Kristy's Kottage!

Amazing view and location

It was perfect for my friend and I. The view was perfect. It was close to everything we wanted to see. Only negative is we could not figure out the fireplace. Im sure that was just is though!

Wonderful views, right on the beach

This was a great, cozy property, sat out on the deck when not walking on the beach. Our first day was pretty blustery but we sat inside with the fireplace on and watched the waves. Kitchen had everything we needed. Wifi seemed just fine and there were streaming services you could use your log ins for. I'm 5'4" so the shower was short for even me, but the temp and pressure were great, just have to bend your knees a bit. Really had everything we needed and I like the laundry area which was great for using like a pantry space and had a great view of the ocean as well. The driveway is steep so you will be parked on a significant angle or could park in the other, flatter parking spot. I like being in the Gleneden area, close to Lincoln City but its quiet and less crowded. We were close to Squatchsami which is a fish and chips/fried chicken Food Truck, which was excellent and other food options there as well by the golf course. The beach access is also very close but it is very rocky and steep and you will need to be careful, would not be friendly to anyone with uncertain mobility. Everything was clean enough, beds were decent. Be aware there are no heaters in the bedrooms but plenty of extra blankets if needed. Go out when high tide starts receding as we had good luck with finding shells and agates, but you will have some competition from the older guys out there searching every time. We will definitely be back the next time we can schedule a beach trip.

Great location, beautiful view

Nothing but great things to say about this experience. Owner was accommodating of our schedule; booking and check-in process was smooth and easy; house was in great shape with comfortable furniture, well-stocked kitchen, plenty of games, puzzles and books, deck was nice, and the view was PERFECT.

Amazing location, comfy beach house

Everything was as advertised, 5 stars, highly recommend this property! Side Door Cafe & Pelican Brewery are very close and were great. Home was ideal for just the two of us, took walks on the beach every day and enjoyed the ocean sounds all night.

Great little spot

We enjoyed the stay very much. The view was amazing and it was easy to access and check-in was seamless. The only things we needed and didn’t have was pizza cutter, an ice cream scoop and Kleenex - I mean if you’re not crying, eating pizza and ice cream are you even having a girls weekend?! We would definitely stay here again!

Great ocean watching

This was a very clean home, with chairs set up to watch the waves all day. The gas fireplace kept us toasty and we had fun with a vintage (1981 - is that vintage now?!) Trivial Pursuit game. We would have started towels but missed where the soap was available, and we weren't able to sit outside unfortunately (no chairs - although it was pretty windy anyway). Loved being able to just walk down to the beach and enjoy our quiet time together.

Tremendous ocean view

Great escape for my husband and me to celebrate our birthdays. Cottage was immaculate and equipped with everything we needed. Front row seats for wave watching couldn’t have been better, and the gas fireplace kept us cozy. Being in our early 70s the beach access was too tricky, but we drove to easier access and had a lovely walk. Fantastic dinner at Side Door Cafe. We’d definitely like to return!!

Lovely experience

The house was snug and cozy with charming decor and a delightful lighthouse motif. The view from the living room windows is immersive and provides absolutely stunning sunsets (weather permitting). The sofa, chairs and ottoman were very relaxing and the gas fireplace made the room warm and comfortable. The beds were quite comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked for our needs. We certainly enjoyed the nearby restaurants, such as The Side Door Cafe, Tidal Raves, and the Otis Cafe. The beach was just steps away and was enjoyable for strolls in the morning and evening. Also, we had a great time one afternoon hiking the God's Thumb trail. The neighborhood was very quiet and secluded. The communication with our host was clear and informative. We would love to stay here again.

Perfect Getaway

This property was everything that was promised. We had a much needed getaway with the healing affects of the ocean air, as well as the relaxing sights and sounds of the ocean. We will definitely come back here!

Memorial Weekend

It's a beautiful home by the sea. We came to relax and enjoy the waves. We did a lot of cooking and eating, there were enough pots and pans to accommodate us. Next time when we come, I will make sure to bring a scrubbing sponge so that we can properly do dishes. The house was clean and we are happy. I wish the shower curtin was washed or changed. It's old and smells of mildew, but other then that, it was perfect!

Wonderful stay at Kristy's Kottage

My gal pal and I stayed 3 nights at the Kottage and could have not had a better rental! Not only was it very clean, but also so comfy with a fabulous view. It was even better than the photos on the rental site. The kitchen had everything you would need for a great stay and even more. Kristy thought of everything! You could even hear the ocean waves from the bedrooms with no open windows. Although the steps were steep to get to the outdoor balcony, we made it work for our evening drinks to watch the sunset which was spectacular. We only tried the beach access nextdoor once as it was too dangerous after my friend fell even using the rope to repel down to the beach. But no worries, we just walked about 3 blocks to another access which was very easy to navigate. Really, the only items which would make this rental even more spectacular are: kleenex, a hook on the bathroom door for robes and directions on how to operate the 2 remotes. We figured it out on our last night. Highly recommend this rental if you don't want to bring your dog.
