“Very clean property. Well managed, great breakfast. Safe.”

“Quirky resort. Lots of artsy stuff. But I paid $275 for one night. That didn’t include a bathroom, TV, or phone. Building is very old and historic but not well maintained and the community bathrooms smelled. Not for me.”

“The staff was super kind and informative. However, the room was not maintained well compared to my last visit, which was 10+ years ago. No fridge, no microwave, all power outlets were covered up. The most uncomfortable things were: 1. The entire room smells like a lavatory. 2. The assigned room is just next to the railroad, which woke me up every single hour overnight. Never stay there again.”

“Pleasant property room was clean but missed on the furniture. Big empty spot that could have held a comfortable chair. Requested a king but got 2 queens which threw off the sleeping/nightstand use. Hot tub was very nice. Breakfast food was good (especially the biscuits) and staff did great job keeping it well stocked and the area very clean. Staff were all friendly. Bathroom soap, lotion, shampoo/conditioner were really nice… big bottles, not the personal size. Ordered some for home...

“They do not do house keeping. No bed making no fresh towels even after 3 nights you have to ask. Spoke to the night time manager alls I heard were excuses of how hospitality has changed. Lazy and penny pinching. The reality is if you stay more then one night your better off with separate reservations so you get a fresh room when you return from a day out.”

“I come here every month for several days and the staff feel like family. They are so friendly and helpful. I like the little store for snacks or more. The rooms are well stocked, and have an easy chair along with a comfortable bed, kitchen and desk area.”

“My room was clean; however it was old and run down, moisture ants appeared in my bathroom so I needed to switch rooms. In my first room, the TV did not work, the carpet was horribly stained, the tub needed to be replaced, the lampshade was stained, the mattress was lumpy, the furniture was all chipped, and the furnace and road noises were loud. This room also wreaked of old cigarette smoke, and the in room phone did not work, so you could not ring the office. I was also greeted with the stench...

“The room was great (except a unique closet/storage setup). It’s great to be right on a beautiful park! The hvac was pretty loud but effective. Otherwise good sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful. A couple of restaurants a short walk away. Great for pets.”

“Place is new or recently remodeled. Everything was fresh and clean. Rooms include a kitchenette that we did not use. Breakfast is ordinary self-serve and got the job done.”
