“Our room was very clean and spacious. We had everything we needed either in the room or provided by the staff. Breakfast was excellent- lots of choices and very fresh. We did not use the pool or hot tub during our stay. I would definitely stay again when in Douglas. ”

It would be very helpful if guests were informed at check-in when amenities like the pool or hot tub are closed for maintenance, rather than having to find out on their own or ask. We were told the pool was heated to 84 degrees, but that was not our experience—it was extremely cold and difficult to stay in. When we asked, staff later confirmed the heater had actually been off. “Filthy room. I had to clean the bathroom floor & counters before use. We did not have to use a key to enter the room. We accidently opened the wrong door to our room & it was not locked. Upon tryng others they were the same. Unless you were in the room with the security latch thrown a yone could have access. The free breakfast was worthless. The whole place wasn't clean. ”

“Amazing hotel with a big hall, overlooking balconies on trees and inner garden with pool, 5 warm and cozy hot tubes and a small fountain with fishes. Rich breakfast, big room and perfect cleaning. Definitely recommended for a relaxing break. ”

“bathroom needed repairs. hot tub was nice. breakfast was good but wished it had a bigger variety of items, bed was VERY firm, which I didn't like, but others may find that a plus.”
