“Our first time at a Bed and Breakfast, and so worth it. It's a little tricky driving in if you're not used to the roads in that area, but it's tucked back and very quiet. It was nice watching the sunset or the humming birds from the front porch, and the room was very spacious. The owners are so accommodating and friendly and the breakfast was amazing. If you like inns with historic and rustic charm, you should try this one!”

“People were absolutely awesome at the Good Place B&B. I felt so welcomed during my entire stay, from checking in to check in out and every breakfast in between, which were great and delicious by the way. A great place to spend a few days away in nature, but a close drive to many historic locations and natural attractions in the area. The rooms amenities could use some improvement (new towels and linen come to mind). Other than that, I would definitely stay here again. ”

“This property rates at the TOP of the list. Its as elegant as the Greenbriar and Homestead in terms of the property and rooms. It is stunning. Martha is a wonderful host and
she is so elegant in her special touches....antiques, crystal, place settings, even in the room crystal glasses with little doilies on top with crystals weighted down. Magnificent Crystal Chandeliers. Historic touches everywhere. You will want to come back! ”

“Loved this place! It’s a perfect option if you don’t want to pay the high price at the Homestead. You can walk to the homestead and still enjoy the restaurants and most of the features of the homestead. The staff was so sweet and we loved the hot homemade breakfast!”
